Just graduated from this school! Let me start by saying…read moreMs. Martha is such an amazing instructor. She will go above and beyond to help you learn. I saw with my own eyes how she helped students who struggle with learning abilities and they did well. Keep in mind that this is a school for adults!!! If you are focused on what you are here for you will succeed. THIS IS NOT HIGH SCHOOL!!! The manicuring program full time is fast paced so stay on top of assignments and you will be fine. Ms. Tina, Sandy and the receptionist are amazing as well. Thank you so much for everything.

I went to the school to get a student haircut, and I left more disappointed than ever…read more FAIL: The space for the haircuts was a total mess, chairs and tables all over the place, heads placed around every available space, uncleaned floors and windows--just disgusting! FAIL: When I got a student, I provided him with a clear description of what I wanted him to do (description below), yet several times he was unsure of what the simple instructions meant, so he had to call over his instructor. The sad thing is that the instructor was also fairly clueless. He keeps insisting on ignoring my instructions and doing only what he knows. My hair is naturally curly when the length is greater than 1.25 inches, yet he treated my hair like it was straight. It's appalling that students aren't properly taught the difference in curly vs. straight hair, so I'll never go back and tell everyone not to go here. FAIL: The student also decided to shorten my beard that naturally blends into my hair without asking me. I asked what he was doing without my consent and he said, "Oh, OK" Analysis: The students ARE CLEARLY NOT taught to keep their workspace clean, the difference between curly and straight hair, or that you should always ask the customer if the directions they're going in are right. My instructions: "Keep the top around ¾ to 1 inch to control the curl. Use scissors only on the sides -- don't shorten them, just remove bulk. Blend the sides into the top softly with scissors, no thinning shears."

Walking onto campus, I was immediately greeted with a smile and positive attitude from Ms. Ruth. Despite how many students attend the school, she made an effort to get to know us and remember our names. Ms. Ruth was recently promoted to Administrative Assistant for the ADN Program, and it is so well deserved! It was truly a full-circle moment when she was the one who emailed my letter of acceptance for the second portion of the program. Since I don't see Ms. Ruth at the front desk anymore, I usually stop by the Admin Office just to say hi and ask how she and her family are doing. Nursing school can be stressful and challenging, but Ms. Ruth has made me feel heard and supported since the very beginning. Thank you as well to Professor Marion German, Professor Leah Baltazar, and Dr. Dela Cruz for taking the time to meet with my cohort regularly to listen to our concerns and provide support since we started the program. Having such a supportive administrative team while beginning the ADN program has been invaluable to my learning experience at MFSON.

During my time, school administrators were fired for alleged embezzlement which reflected in the poor maintenance of the school. Save your money & go somewhere respectable.

No matter how many questions or concerns I had, she was always patient, kind, professional, and willing to guide me through everything. Applying and handling admissions can be stressful and overwhelming, but Michelle made the process so much easier. She went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything and never made me feel like a burden. Her communication, support, and dedication honestly made such a huge difference in my experience. Thank you, Michelle, for your kindness, reliability, and for genuinely caring about students. Your help did not go unnoticed and I truly appreciate everything you did for me.

Horrible experience. So unprofessional and unorganized!!!! I have stories for days. I was supposed…read moreto graduate from the LVN program in August 2026. The reason I didn't was because Ms. Rainee, an on-and-off clinical instructor, said I was out of class for "over 20 minutes" without providing proof. Earlier that same day, she wanted to write me up, and I refused without first speaking with the nursing director, Ms. Linda. Shortly afterward, I was dropped from the program without what I felt was a fair opportunity to explain my side of the situation. ( Even though I had proof of calls and pictures) I had to go through an appeal process just to get the opportunity to return. I made my appeal to Paul Gibson, and the same day happened to be his last day at the school. He acted as though he was going to help me and take care of the situation, but I was never informed that he was leaving. Weeks went by with no response. I eventually had to go to campus myself, where I found out from other employees that he had resigned that day. No one followed up with me, and I had to start the appeal process again. Eventually, I was able to return the program the following semester. I then had Debbie Allen as my theory instructor. From the beginning, I felt singled out and treated differently. I was removed from the first two classes, and I later heard similar concerns from other students about how she treated students. When I returned, it felt like everything had changed. new rules, new expectations, and constant scrutiny. The communication between staff and students is extremely poor. There were multiple situations where I felt students were expected to accept decisions without being given a fair opportunity to explain themselves or have their concerns properly addressed. I have spent thousands of dollars and countless hours working toward becoming an LVN. Having my education repeatedly put at risk because of situations that I feel could have been handled professionally and fairly was extremely stressful and frustrating. I also had concerns about another instructor, Mr. Noe. During my experience, he referred to women in the class as "sexy," and there were also text messages sent to students at inappropriate hours. Eventually, students had a meeting with Ms. Linda regarding these concerns, and Mr. Noe later left the school. I had so many instructors come and go during my time here that it became difficult to feel like there was any consistency within the program. In my personal experience, I felt that several staff members prioritized their own decisions over actually listening to students and helping them succeed. I also had issues with Mr. Steve Martin. I emailed him requesting my transcript and followed up, but he ignored my request for almost TWO MONTHS. I eventually had to physically go to campus just to get my transcript, and only then was it provided to me. Something as important as a student's transcript should not require repeatedly chasing staff down in person when I had already requested it through email months earlier. The people I personally had serious concerns with were Ms. Linda, Ms. Rainee, Ms. Debbie Allen, Paul Gibson, Mr. Steve Martin, and Mr. Noe. After everything I experienced, I unfortunately came to feel that the students were not the priority. The one major positive experience I had was Ms. Sarah, who was an amazing theory instructor. She genuinely cared about teaching and her students, and she was one of the few instructors who made me feel supported. Ironically, she told us that this was her first and last year teaching at the school. This review doesn't even cover half of what happened during my time here. I am sharing my experience because I wish I had known what I was getting myself into before investing so much time, money, and energy into this program. If you're considering enrolling, I strongly recommend talking to current and former students and asking very specific questions about the instructors, communication, appeals process, and how disciplinary situations are handled.
