Joe made sure we weren't sitting in a classroom being bored with reading and presentations. We got hands on practical training and situational training. I was intimated being the only woman in a room of men, but Joe continued to help me feel comfortable in my own abilities despite anyone else in the room. He has other courses and training which are valuable to anyone that own a firearm or looking to own one.

My friends and I all came with different skill levels: one never held a gun before, one shot a gun once and didn't believe in owning a gun, and me who shots at a frequency of once or twice a year. We learned the basic stances and holding techniques used by competitive marksmen. I had to unlearn my original natural tendencies. After just the first hour, my precision and accuracy both improved. My friends and I had a great time! Though my friends were uncertain with the original idea of taking the class and generally aren't fans of guns.
