Lori, the owner called me back within minutes and we made an appointment to set everything up. She was very thorough with her questions and bonded right away with my old fat kitty, Calli. I was gone for about a week, and during my trip, Lori did great by proactively texting me to let me know that Calli was doing great. When I got home, there was a daily log on my counter that gave notes about her daily visits, mostly about how Calli was hungry...again!!! I will definately use Lori again. The area that we saw was made up of two large rooms with couches and many medium and large dogs milling about. When we initially brought Misha they moved some of the dogs to another room so she would not be overwhelmed. We watched from windows in the office as she acclimated quickly and found a spot on one of the couches and eventually other dogs joined. It was just like being at the dog park and she seemed to do just fine. We will absolutely bring Misha here on our next trip! Everything was so easy, they make the process quick. We did not even have an appointment, we just called in about 15min before arriving. They asked us to email her vaccination records which we did on the spot. She was caring for my beloved Shih Tzu while I was away on a short vacation. My puppy was only a year and a half old -- gentle, sweet, and full of life. I left him in her care for four days, with two days left on my trip, when I received the call that no pet owner should ever get: my dog was killed by one of her own dogs, a part-German Shepherd mix, while she wasn't even home. This was not an accident -- it was neglect. A professional sitter should never leave a small dog unsupervised with a large, aggressive dog, especially when they are her responsibility. She failed to provide a safe environment, and my puppy paid the price with her precious life. She was just a puppy, a year and a half old. I'm writing this so no one else has to go through the same pain. If you love your pet, please do not trust not leave your dog with her. She should not be offering pet-sitting services after such gross negligence and disregard for safety.
