We've used them for all types of jobs (Tower Cranes on tall buildings, large crawler cranes for Tilt Wall panels, etc). They have always been good to work with. Most recently I hired them, in partnership with Bartlett Tree Experts, to dismantle a massive Oak Tree that died and was hovering over a house. Alamo Crane and their salesman Robert Webb, did a great job from start to finish. Finished on time, and most importantly, finished the job safely and with no incidents. I would definitely recommend Alamo for any crane needs.

Sub contractors in the area of san antonio looking to hire a Crane beware of this company called…read moreAlamo Crane and their employees. i had some air conditioning equipment that i needed to get them on a roof. the salesman called ray went to survey the location and gave me a price of 150 dlls per hour with a minimum of 4 hrs i accepted and went on our business during the maneuver we had some issues with the roof curb that didn't fit the unit and had to order a transition curb. unfortunately we needed the crane to come back another day to finish the job. we paid the 650 dls for the time agreed and the guy ray said that next time he will only charge me for the time spend there plus 1 hr trip charge. so we shook hands and 1 week later we are back to finish the job and crane shows up got the job done in 20 mins so i figure 1 hr and 20 mins maybe 2 hrs round it up but to my surprise he came up with another 650 dlls invoice i ask him about our verbal agreement and he said that the unit was to heavy and he must charge the normal fee of 4 hrs, that our conversation of 1 hr plus time was not good. he threatened to file a lien if i didn't pay. called the manager and regardless of my explanation he sided with the salesman. this are real professional con mens so lesson learn i will never hire Alamo crane and any other company we should get everything in writing. beware of shady ray and shady manager @ Alamo Crane. will follow up with a complain at better business
