Unfortunately, the time window landed us straight in the middle of Memorial Day weekend. In a panic, my fiance called 4 different home inspectors the Thursday before the holiday weekend. Two of them didn't even answer, and one of the inspectors said they weren't available until mid-June. Don, on the other hand, was super accommodating and willing to do the inspection ON memorial day AND charged us the normal rate. A+ for flexibility! First lets talk affordability. My fiance looked up home inspectors in Cincinnati who would do the normal run through, radon sweep, and termite inspection. Don has one of the best rates in town, and I think he had an offer where the termite inspection was included. We had visited the property twice before Don came by, and he caught things that my fiance and I would have never ever seen. Don was very friendly, thorough, patient with questions, and not only did he point out things that were cause for concern, he suggested project prioritization and solutions so that we weren't left feeling overwhelmed by all the work that had to be done. As first time homebuyers, we were also very appreciative of the rough estimates he gave and the renegotiating points we could technically make. He also pointed out the good things about the house--that really gave us confidence in our decision. Again, because of the time crunch, we asked Don if he could send us the report fairly quickly and he was more than happy to accommodate. I would HIGHLY recommend Don to anyone who asked.
