I was excited and nervous to start my new siding project. It was a big job. Elijah did a good job discussing options and explaining the process with me. I decided to move forward because of his knowledge, expertise, and personality. His explanation about Home Genius Exteriors was the confidence I needed to pull the trigger. As the installation began an issue came up where the crew accidentally broke my bib causing water to get into my basement. It was extremely stressful and nerve-wracking. But my project manager Dylan and the Installation Manager Tri made the situation much more tolerable. Dylan was on-site that day within an hour or two. He assured me that they would correct their mistakes and they did. Tri made a trip in from New Jersey to ensure things were working towards resolution. Their accountability, communication, and ownership of the mistake was first class. I realize that accidents happen but the way it was handled couldn't have been handled any better. As a result of how they handled the accident I am happy to say I would do business with them again. Most companies would not have taken ownership like they did. My husband Wayne and I are thrilled with how our home has transformed. Home genius installed Hardie siding and its looks amazing! The crew lead by Jose worked very hard but was also meticulous about quality. My husband had hear surgery the day that Installation ending up starting. It was unfortunate with weather and material delays that this is how the timing worked out, but my project manager Dylan reassured us everything would be okay with us being in the hospital all week with surgery and post Op. Well Dylan certainly delivered on his word and kept us up to date with pictures and a small change order we handled remotely. Now that we are home and settling back in we couldn't be more pleased! Elliot came to our home and took the time to do a full inspection of our home and present us with his professional opinion on what we should do for our home We knew we needed a new roof and decided to also get gutters done. Home Genius Exteriors gave me one of the most frustrating home improvement experiences I've ever dealt with. The roofing and gutter crews were careless, communication was nonexistent, and several issues went completely unreported. I had to discover every problem myself - including a worker putting their foot through a finished office ceiling and never saying a word. For the price I paid, the lack of professionalism and quality was unacceptable. The only reason this project didn't turn into a total disaster was Ron, the project manager. He stepped in, took responsibility, and worked tirelessly to fix the problems the crews and management left behind. We recently got new Hardie siding and trim installed by home Genius. We discovered behind our old cedar siding that there was no plywood and needed to do a change order which stung initially. But we are glad the house now is fully wrapped with plywood, insulation, and housewrap under the new siding. The installation went tremendously with Jerson and his crew working long hard days but not sacrificing quality along the way. Our project manager Dylan was here day in and day out dropping off materials (and cold drinks) and inspecting quality. His communication was top-tier every step of the 2 week project. Just finished brand new board and batten siding at my home and could not be happier with how it turned out. The men on the work crew worked so hard in the snow, wind, and cold weather. Have needed a new roof for years. HGE spoke with me and finalized a sale on a Thurs and I had a new roof and gutters by weds. Everyone from HGE has been very easy to work with explained and validated any concerns or questions I had about the installation of the project. Although I believe the price point is higher then most other companies it is nice to have the piece of mind of the product and the warranty along with financing options. My house was not the easiest to accommodate between location and recent snow/ice but the crews worked diligently to get everything done with each project only taking a day. read more
