This was my first time working with a designer or design firm but decided that maybe I should let an expert create the space I deserved to live in. I wanted to ensure that I ended up with a home that I would absolutely love coming home to and spending time in and I have. I will never regret that decision and it has been worth every penny! (And, yet, Interior Motives fees were significantly less than I had originally thought they might be.) Working with Will's team has been an amazing experience. He truly changed my life and how view the space in which I live. He has helped me with numerous projects and my remodel completed last year turned out great. From start to finish he, designed, managed and completed my remodel in the agreed time frame which I started with just the kitchen and family room and completed the entire home. From our first meeting, Will always listened attentively and redirected me even when I was a difficult customer. His ability to understand what I wanted when I didn't was spot on. He has been quick to understand what I was going for in terms of design and feel. For my Master bed room and bathroom I wanted a spa-like feel from my favorite DC hotel and he did just that. In my family room we wanted somewhat modern, but comfortable, inviting, warm and with a masculine color. Will nailed it! I NEVER could have even come close to creating these rooms in a way he has. She introduced us to the furniture designers/creators and we got to see some live work in progress-they were also friendly and awesome! Terry helped me in person and via email over the course of a couple months to select every fixture needed, and patiently looked up items I found on the internet. There's tables full of tools and merchandise and bins of fasteners and they'll cut keys for you and I've even purchased gardening tools here but they just might be functional souvenirs from the coolest gift shop ever ;-) Really, there's spare parts and fluids and coatings in wall cubbies for things that were old when Moses was young; an amazing array of scythes, buck-saws, and other implements of indeterminate age but obviously well used and cared for as you would expect in these surroundings.
