We were very pleased with Craig who assisted my wife in understanding the differences in the fabrics, their wearability, the anticipated delivery times, and who tolerated our slow decision making and the amount of time we held samples at home trying to make a final decision. Craig also kept us apprised of the manufacture's production schedule. The fellow who came to the house to determine the measurements was not only friendly, but also very knowledgeable and willing to share his knowledge regarding proper installation methods and wear. With his input we were able to arrange to include two scatter rugs from the same bolt of carpet to be ordered. Finally, the installer, Justin, was friendly, and did a very professional job of removing the old carpeting and installing the new carpeting. We are very happy that we chose Ballston Carpet and Tile to do this project and have no reservations with recommending them to others.

It has been anything but stellar, some would even say "Nightmare!" I ordered new windows for my home in April 2022 promised they were custom because I needed a brown exterior to comply with my HOA. It took four months to install the windows to then only discover on day of installation a kitchen window was not on the delivery truck, and this was after the installer broke my existing window. Their talented installer though thought it was appropriate to put plywood on the window opening as we would have to wait for a new window. This was after they had an epic-fail with installing my second-floor patio doors and forgot to put the top lock on the door and the handle didn't work! Six months later February 2023, my kitchen window finally arrived and was installed by Brandon. At that point I noticed the window was two inches too short! My trusty installer said, "that's the way they are" and proceeded to fill in the gap with insulation! So much for "Custom!" Herb the manager of Home Depot Services promised me a $250.00 gift card for my patience and if I signed off on the original job. He didn't want Brandon to not get paid for his "quality" work! I have made multiple phone calls to Herb and Fran (another manager promising to deliver satisfactory customer service) who has just managed to compile on to an already frustrating experience! I write this review to let other trusting homeowners know to NOT do business with Home Depot! They did not deliver their promise of quality, custom product! Nor have they managed to fix this tenuous situation! I implore other potential customers to rethink their choice of businesses and run the other way when they consider Home Depot! Thank you to Joseph Tanzola, Herb, Fran and Brandon and of course corporate Home Depot for providing me with a nightmare of a shopping experience!
