The caregiver placed with my dad, Alisha W., was truly amazing. She was extremely patient and upbeat when faced with challenging circumstances. She had such a great attitude and went above and beyond, whether it was taking him on fun outings, staying late to take him to a doctor's appointment (even when I said no problem to send him home in a taxi), or noticing when he had a new medical issue that needed attention. She was able to establish rapport and a meaningful relationship with him when most of his other relationships fell away due to his condition. She even managed to make him feel comfortable using some personal care products for the first time, which was quite a feat.I feel so lucky to have Alisha in my dad's life! I found Homewatch Caregivers to help fill the gap, initially for driving and errands, but eventually I know it will be more. They have been supporting her for almost two months now. Their caregivers have been consistently on time, patient, and understanding. They're CNAs who not only drive her safely but also make sure she gets to the park, the grocery store, and most importantly, her doctor's appointments. This has brought stability back into her world. The director, Richard, has been exceptional. He took the time to understand my neighbor's personality and needs, and he adjusts staffing thoughtfully as he learns more about her. He's helping us build a foundation so that as her condition progresses, the agency will already know her well and be ready with the right tailored solutions. It's clear that Richard genuinely cares about his clients, and hires caregivers who represent his values. In a situation where there is no family oversight, many might do the bare minimum, but he does the opposite. Scheduling has also been handled with real care; Richard is meticulous about choosing the best days and times for her as we settle into a routine. She has shoulder pain and asks for assistance and has to wait way tooooo long for help. Many times is forgotten regarding various services; shower, etc. Has to repeatedly ask. Not a good view as a visitor.

Finally had to go to court to try and get my money back. So buyer beware they will NOT return any extra payments. I would advise anyone to only pay as you go when things are about to end for your loved one. The office doesn't care to return anything without a fight. Over the years I paid them tens of thouands of dollars, but they would not return a partial months over payment. Disgraceful.
