Right from the very start we knew we made the right decision to hire Comfort Keepers. We interviewed several companies when we were looking for someone or somebody, anybody to help us with our Dad who could no longer live by himself. We needed assistance! For us, probably as much as for him. We interviewed with Nurse Denise Kenny and from the very moment we met Denise we knew she was our "Girl"!!! The difference was she actually cared! All these companies, they're ALL business, you know dollars and cents, profit, etc.! But Denise was different. She spent time interviewing Dad. Asking him what he likes, dislikes. She wanted to understand his temperament things like that. After which she said that she had two Care Givers on staff that would be a perfect fit for Dad. She was right! She brought Alcadia Valdez and Kendra Rose one at a time to talk with and get aquatinted with Dad before they started the actual service. Denise was right Ali and Kendra were both great and the perfect Care Givers for Dad. He was so happy with them. Ali and Kendra helped him with all the things that he needed help with. They always came on time, everyday, with smiles on their faces and spring in their steps! The team of 3 helped us understand the things our Dad needed and they needed, to give him the best possible personal and professional care. Denise, Ali and Kendra always goes the extra mile and are always ready willing and able to go above and beyond. These are the little extra thing and we appreciate it. We throughly enjoy all the daily comments that Kendra and Ali leave on the Comfort Keeper client portal. As an RN, Denise is always there to give us the Nursing advice and consul that we need at a moments notice. She lent us a wheel char for Dad's apartment when he was recovering from his hospital stay. So helpful! Denise, Ali and Kendra will always text us a picture or drop us a text to let us know if there is a change in Dad's status or if there is some issue that we should look into. What can I say. We love the Comfort keepers and are so glad we can depend on them to help us with Dad and all his needs. Thank you Comfort Keepers! PS. I don't usually write reviews. Caytee is absolutely the best of the best at what she does. I have been going to her for years and…read morewhen I have pain or have pulled something in my back, hip, shoulders, neck...something that NO doctor can do anything about except write a prescription for pills or send you to PT...she ALWAYS ALWAYS gets rid of the pain. Not in a week...not over time...but the next day it isn't there anymore. I leave her feeling like I'm in an altered state I feel so good. So many times I've thought Caytee won't be able to help me this time...but she really has NEVER failed at relieving whatever I've managed to hurt.

IRHC have been the home care providers for three people in my life - my next door neighbor, a close…read morefriend, and (I saved the best for last) my MOTHER!! My neighbor's was seamless. She had fallen and broken her arm and leg. Once out of the hospital the nurse and home care professional were waiting at her house to take over 24 hour care, including her dog. My close friend's care was the physical therapy she required after breaking her leg. She is 71 years old. IRHC is for any age! And my mother's care? Well, all I can say is it was great and is still going on. My mother (92 years old) fell and broke her elbow. she required home assistance with all basic needs, and physical and occupational therapy. Indian River Home Care does it all. And it's done with professionalism, highest standard of care, and with family peace of mind.
