Been doing physical therapy, chiro, and massage for 8+ years and gotten some short term relief but the debilitating spasms have only gotten worse and more frequent. I couldn't play sports and there were weeks on end where I couldn't even pick up my two babies. I was referred to Dr. Bajaj by an Orthopedic surgeon in the same building and told if this doesn't work, disc replacement surgery is my last option. The team at RPS went through a slow and deliberate process to see how my discs and lower back responded to less inflammation -- first with diagnostic cortisone shots. The symptoms slightly improved so Dr. Bajaj recommended I do stem cell injections with a PRP booster. I was skeptical since nothing else had worked and healing my condition had been somewhat hopeless. Although insurance did not cover the procedure, it was the best money I've ever spent. Within a few weeks 80% of the pain had gone. Within a few months I was playing sports again. So: no physical exam, no BioTE procedure I had scheduled, $300 out of pocket, a partial refund, a collections referral for money already returned, and silence from the office when I tried to fix it. I know it's common practice to have to wait for your doctor, and in my experience that's been especially true for orthopedists, but this office has been the worst doctor's office experience I've ever had. Over the years--with all the ups and downs, body adjustments, weight gain and loss--I began experiencing intense nerve pain in my lower back and right hip, radiating from my buttocks all the way down to my toes. That's when I learned it had a name: sciatica. For a while, I tried to manage the pain with basic stretches, but last year I decided to get an X-ray--just to be safe.
