I am obsessed! I initially called to make an appointment with Celina for a gel-x manicure after looking up nail salons closest to where I had a nearby meeting. I'm so glad I ended up at this salon and will be back every month! While chatting with Celina at the start of the appointment, I mentioned to her that my natural nails had become weak after repeatedly getting temporary nail extensions at another salon. Celina suggested that we could try a luminary hard gel overlay on my natural nails for long-lasting strength (~1 month) and nail growth without the need for gel-x/tips. No other nail technician had ever mentioned this as an option, and I am so happy with how it turned out! As someone who always had extensions, I've never seen my natural nails look so good in my life! Not only do they look great, but they also feel so strong, and I don't have to worry about them breaking. Celina is super detail-oriented and it's obvious that she cares a lot about her work and clients. On top of everything else, the polish options at this salon are beautiful. I have found that in many other salons, color options are overwhelming and laid out in a chaotic and overstimulating way. At Two Gemini Girls, polishes are grouped and organized not just by color, but also by color scheme/tone, which is such a better experience when choosing the perfect shade. 10/10! read more

This is my favorite manicure I have ever received! Celina is amazing. I came for a gel manicure with nail art booked through Airbnb services while on a business trip. We had a tight 90 minutes before my next meeting and I showed Celina my ideal design, disclaiming that I knew we were tight on time so I could pick something else, but she was game to do it, and she did exactly that design in the time allotted! We watched traitors and we chatted, it was so relaxing, and then at the end I had my dream nail design. Thank you so much! Will definitely be back on future trips to LA! read more

I hate to be the first not to leave a stellar review but my visit here wasn't great. She was really rough with my cuticles before soaking and I have several cuts because of it. She asked how my hands felt and I couldn't exactly say "kind of burning actually" as she did my pedicure. Saying something during the service couldn't have done anything to rectify the damage she had already caused. She did a good enough job on the pedicure polish but again, she was rough and a lot places are still smarting long after the service, especially the one area I asked to have special care. She works out of a Salon Republic space and was very disorganized, making for an awkward, uncomfortable experience. I wish I hadn't come here because of a few good reviews. read more

I hadn't had a pedicure in at least almost 2 yrs as everything has increased in price. Well anyway she was so nice and had a gift for gentleness on my feet. She gave me a foot scrub as well. While L.A. has many nail salons, I have yet to find one who is as good as Celina. Shinay is amazing she did a really careful & beautiful job with my nails. She did exactly what I wanted. She didn't try to up sell or rush through things just to get it done. She genuinely seems to love to do nails & it shows. Celina was very kind to my 2 year old that wanted to have his nails done too. Excellent customer service. They both made it so easy for me as a mom to get my nails done even with a little one. They put his favorite show on the big screen and let him sprawl out on their soft velvety furniture. I have found the nail salon I've been searching for my entire adult life. Shinay is so kind, thoughtful, and meticulous. I'm very particular about my pedicure and this one wasn't an "in and out in 20 minutes" job. She spent almost an hour making sure my nails, cuticles, and polish were perfect.
