We immediately got off and headed to O'Reilly's Auto Parts Store on Sherwood Way. We had gotten an emergency message on our dashboard display saying that we needed to stop as soon as possible. We assumed it was the battery; but as it turned out it was one or two belts. Our car was still under warranty and had roadside assistance for another five months. The Customer Service Associate told me to come in after 1:30 p.m. and I was seen as soon as I arrived. I went to the Parts Department and was helped by a very pleasant Associate who gave me a "Military Discount" on the bulb I needed. What's more, Toyota DID NOT charge for the Labor of installing the bulb (Fist Pump! And Fist Pump Again!) I waited about 30 minutes in the Waiting Room after paying for my bulb, but was very happy to learn my vehicle was ready. While I have read the previous reviews, I am glad to report my experience was everything that I have come to expect of Toyota after having owned one for almost 20 years. While in San Angelo, I definitely plan to come back to this location for my automotive needs. Until the next bulb blows ~

She sounded irritated and as if I interrupted her - perhaps she was busy on her FB page - not sure - but very unfriendly! I then called the front desk/reception and again spoke to someone NOT TOO friendly, but also not rude. I asked to speak to the GM - was then told he was in a meeting. I asked WHO he was, to which she at first sounded reluctant to give his name - then after asking again - she said it was "Sean". I asked her to please ask him to call me - she said she would give him the message. Today is Friday, May 20th, and NO call has come from "Sean" - the GM! As a business owner for many years, I am amazed how businesses like this are still in business! Is it ONLY about selling new vehicles (but then) they even suck at that! I went to them over a year ago looking at trading my 2018 GMC with very low mileage, and buying a Toyota Tacoma (I ended up buying a BRAND NEW one from Brunner Toyota in Brownwood - which means they lost that deal) - I was told by the "salesman" that he cannot give me a price on my GMC and that he needs to speak to his manager and that they will get back to me! It has been over a year, and I still have not received that call! Bet you IF I ran my business like this, I would not be in business, let alone employ people who do not know HOW to speak to potential customers! I will now take my vehicle to Abilene to get serviced - yet another loss for this business! The driver from Southern Industrial (Its been a few months but I think it was Bubba) was incredibly kind to me, and drove literally all night to come get my car and get it back to San Angelo where home is and where i could get the car repaired. Four hours out, hook up the tow at 2am, four hours back! An eight hour tow is not cheap, but their per mile rate was reasonable. Car repairs ultimately took weeks, so I owe it to this company that i got home to see my family that day, and probably saved me hundreds in hotel costs and car repair costs. They went above and beyond, and they worked all night to get me home. Once my car was in town, they even looked at it for me and helped me find a good shop to fix it. Stellar service from this company. Really great.

Lee contacted me almost immediately after I requested services. Lee went to work diagnosing my problem as soon as he could which was pretty quick. He estimated the cost in detail and because I hired him for the job, he waived the diagnostic fee towards total cost. ( I had paid the fee then talked with my wife about the cost of the job, messaged him about the work and he was able get me back into his shop the next day) He did amazing work of the job and essentially got my cars system back up and running before I had to return to work for the weekend (summer days/killer heat) He worked with me on splitting my payment. We told the Valvoline people that and they tried to make us replace it with them. Said no. They put it back, but the second we get on the highway this piece starts dragging on the ground!!! We quickly pull up to Xcessive Auto Repair and the guys here (ask for G!!!) were able to remove the piece and get us on our way.
