Kelly is one of the last trustworth mechanics in America. We got towed in after hours with a busted transmission while on a cross country road trip in our RV. He quickly had a new Jasper Transmission ordered, and was more than welcoming to us. It took several days for our parts to arrive, and he offered for us to stay in our camper on his property for free. He even let us connect to his electric to run our air conditioner. I watched the employees of Kelly's Auto Shop for a week, and they were absolutely always the pinnacle of professional and kind. Bryon is an extremely knowledgeable expert in auto repair, and could diagnose problems immediately and have them fixed in quick order. Kyle is a by-the-book perfectionist who treated every vehicle as if it was his own. He's young and smart, and a fantastic person. Kelly (the owner) is a great "old style" mechanic. He's worked on every kind of vehicle and seen every type of problem. He's well versed in cars and also isn't afraid to get his hands dirty and fix something when it needs fixing. Kelly and his entire crew are great people, and you'd be foolish to use any other repair shop in town. These guys are legends. read more

Talk about customer service and just out right kindness. My car broke down at a gas station, I immediately called Kelly's auto repair for any advice. They were actually willing to drive by, getting close to closing hours, to help figure out what was wrong with my car. They weren't able to get my car running at the gas station, but the fact they went out of their way to try to help a customer, meant so much to me. They are worth the money. We had a rattle in our front end of our Honda CRV. Called Kelly's to see if they could take a look at it as we were travelling through town. They said come on down and they would squeeze me in even though they were short handed. Waited less than an hour for a quick and professional diagnosis. Part was ordered and repairs done in no time. They are the worst car dealership ever and have rules I have never even heard of. They don't let you get a car from them unless you live on your own. Even if you have a roommate they still won't let you get a car from them they denied me a car just because my roommate didn't have a driver's license even though he's is not the one driving the car I am since it's going to be mine I need a car and they refuse to sell me a car just because my roommate don't have a driver's license. I do not recommend them to no one. If you want a good car with good people go to Samco Auto they are the best ever. read more

We think these people are GREAT. We ran over a deer carcass at night that was lying in the highway. It damaged the gas tank shield and sounded terrible when driving. Bryan at Kelly's did a temporary repaired to get us back on the road. When we offered to pay, Bryan said "no charge" which blew us away at their generosity. We resumed our trip and felt very blessed for selecting their garage. We could not believe the courtesy and honesty from Bryan and others in the garage. I would have gave the owner Kelly himself a negative Star's had two cars repaired by Mr Kelly himself. first car was an 88 corvette that would not restart after driving. After almost two weeks he diagnosed the problem which was an ignition issue. I had no problem with them to repair the vehicle but $25 for a key that cost $11 programed, He also recommended an oil change and i said do It well when i picked up the car and drove it home i noticed i had the old oil change sticker still on the windshield. I looked at the receipt and it wasn't done.. The weather turned bad so i parked the vette. I went back out to start the car and my serp belt broke. it was brand new but somebody cut the belt. i brought this to the attention to Mr. Kelly and he just blew me off like i didn't matter and it is my problem no his. I forgave this issue because I had my 02 fire bird being towed for a power steering issue and a engine pulley that fell off. After a couple days Mr. Kelly called me and quoted me the price to repair. I told him i would let him know. his prices on parts were way out of line so I brought my own and saved myself over $200 in just parts. As i arrived to the shop to give Mr. Kelly the parts he threw a fit and said he had already put the parts on the car and that i had to buy it. I told him i did not authorize him to do such a thing and he argued with me and said he personally spoke to me and that i said go ahead. Well i wrote service of Honda and Accra in Dallas at John Eagle Honda for 13 years and as i told him that he got even more mad and said all the shops here in San Angelo will not allow a customer to bring their own parts because he just cant make any money on labor alone. I told him why would a person buy a part from you that you mark up 200% when i can get the same part for cheaper. Well he gave the part at cost which is the same price i would of spent. I also told him to please check for any needed repairs and the end result was the same as the prior car i had in. Nothing recommended. Well my wipers needed to be replaced, oil needs changing, check engine light is on, fuel Gage is not working, tires needed to be rotated, transmission fluid was low and dirty, brakes in the rear are making a squealing noise, etc.. Mr. Kelly is worried about making money on parts and treating people badly because i brought some issues up on my car that needed to be done. He is losing so much in needed up sales and customer request. He does not know how to manage his time, nor does he have any people/customer skills. Kelly's auto repair should be at the bottom of your car repair list. He personally is full of bull crap and he is a liar and will call you one if you question what he thinks or thought he said. Trash Trash Trash. Oh and my corvette i put a new belt on changed the oil but the car is overheating due to a pin hole in the radiator that i guess he missed too. He calls himself a mechanic or technician please he needs to just air tires up or throw out the trash only, i will never ever let his shop even see another one of my cars.
