They were fast and did good work, I was happy with what I received for the price. That said, I did have an issue - communication. This is a relatively small thing considering the job came out almost perfectly, and that is why the review is 5 stars anyways, this is not a reason to not use the company, it's advice to the company on how to improve further. I struggled to understand the main gentleman's English (and I don't speak Spanish), I always feel bad and try my best, but it was a struggle for me. There was another guy who spoke pretty clearly and was clearly bilingual who came up later, and he was easier for me to understand, less accent, spoke more clearly/loudly. I don't think anything bad should happen to the main gentleman who was spearheading the communications, I am very satisfied with basically everything, I just wanted to clarify about how I wasn't sure I was understood or that I was understanding him at times. At one point I was second-guessing if he understood what I wanted done... I did actually go outside and check to make sure they weren't cutting the entire trees down instead of doing the planned reduction due to a misunderstanding. That's a concern you can avoid customers having by improving verbal communication, and potentially adding some written communication at the front of the service (it was a pre-existing quote, the quote had multiple prices/quotes on it. It only came out at the end, and i had to supply it as the customer). There was a very small disagreement about one tree limb at the end that was still kind of overhanging the house. They decided it was healthy and didn't need to be cut, but frankly it's a branch and leaves that will distribute themselves right over my house and into my gutter. It's by far the closest remaining branch and will probably be the first limb to cause me to need to get my trees trimmed next time. By the time it came up at the end, all the equipment was packed and most of the guys were not around, so the limb was left on. I felt like I was told that they were going to do a "looks good" with me before we called it quits, but I guess this was maybe slightly miscommunicated..

My first experience was to have a 60-year old pine tree removed and base plus roots completely stumped. They gave me the best quote of the 4 I sought and when the day came they had all the right equipment and personnel. In what seemed no time, those men had my tree down and all the evidence of its existence in a truck being hauled somewhere. I' once used them to clean up many substantial downed branches and things after a mini-tornado. Not only was the service impeccable, but what I really appreciated was their quote. Other contractors were gouging but they gave me a fair price that was better than everybody else's Another job they did, also the biggest job they did for me included taking out a massive 60-year old Oak, and various bushes and trees that ran along 3 sides of my yard. This large job took the entire day but they cleared every bush, stumped every root well into the evening until the job was done. (before and after pics attached) Through all of this, the business owners have been incredibly easy to deal with. I just called and stated what I needed done and they either came out for a quote or gave me one over them phone. I've also recommended them to two family members that went on to hire them and both were immensely pleased. If you have a tree job that you need to get done, do me a favor and give these guys at County tree service a call. They've been so good to me and those I sent to them. None of that usual contractor game-playing and b.s. and that has earned them my repeated business over the years.

In 2012, Emerald Tree Care (ie. Wayne White) began treating my 4 ash trees that were planted in…read more1999. Two of the 4 ash trees are in my front and back yard and 2 are located in the parkway. The treatment consists of 2 steps; a liquid soil application around the base of the tree followed by an injection of insecticide into the trunk in multiple locations. The trees grew and matured beautifully thanks to Wayne's yearly treatment. Beginning in 2014, the City of Naperville began treating all ash trees planted on city property and those planted on the street parkways. As a result, Wayne discontinued treatment on those 2 trees. Beginning in the summer of 2016, the health of one of the parkway ash trees deteriorated very quickly and in early 2017, the City of Naperville removed the tree saying it was a casualty of the Ash Borer. I confirmed with the city that the treatment regimen they used was different from Wayne's, although I do not know what chemicals were used The city either treats the soil around the trees OR injects the trunks of larger trees with a borer-fighting chemical whereas Emerald Tree Care does both. Surely the city decision was based on cost The one parkway ash that was removed was only given a soil application. The 2 trees on my property that Wayne continues to treat are beautiful and thriving. Wayne also treats my 2 crabapple trees for seasonal apple scab and recently met me on my property to discuss pruning opportunities. I trust and rely on Wayne and his company to keep my trees healthy and beautiful. I highly recommend Wayne White and Emerald Tree Care.

We experienced some pretty destructive wind damage from the storm on April 2nd. We had a stand of 3…read morevery large trees near our rear yard fence. One went down taking out a portion of our fence, crashed into our garage smashing part of the gutter that it hit. A huge problem was actually the fence because the dogs could not go out alone. My husband could not lift the tree to put the boards back up for the fence. He called JBS Tree Service Friday a.m and was able to get removal arranged for Monday a.m. They arrived on time, actually earlier than we expected. They set everything up, used plywood on the grass so as not the leave ruts in the lawn. They were very respectful of our property. This was a huge piece of equipment. We ended up having all of the trees removed because it seemed like the whole root ball would be compromised. They also ground the stumps. The crew was probably 5 workman and it was absolutely orchestrated. they completed cleaned up our yard and the neighbors yard behind us. they even cleaned the driveway that was not really their mess. Joaquin is the nicest guy and truly wonderful to do business with. He is licensed and an arborist also. They made a bad situation into a good experience. I highly recommend them.
