We also enjoyed a delicious and welcoming pot of chai tea. The Tour of India (Vegetarian) features alu gobi, mutter paneer, lentil daal, rice pilau, mint chutney, pickled carrots, raita and served with a piece of naan bread. Ordered it medium-hot which was the perfect balance of flavourful but with a spicy kick. I would easily order this platter to share again as it was a nice sample of a variety of dishes and was easy to share with another person. I am never disappointed when I dine in or pick up from GM as this restaurant serves quality food for an affordable price. This is by far one of my favourite restaurants in Maple Ridge. I had the Szechuan beef noodles with a spice level of 3. It was fine, nothing special. The sauce was nice and the heat level was good. My friend had them with the no heat at all and she liked them. Another friend had the fish tacos and he thought they were really bad. A hunk of unseasoned fish with dry shaved cabbage and a boring salad on the side. He loves fish tacos and said these were the worst he's had. Others had the teriyaki salmon. We were disappointed that the salmon was farmed salmon. Being in salmon country wild salmon should be the norm. My husband had the chicken quesadilla which he enjoyed. The service was excellent though. Our server was friendly and helpful, even offering us a bigger table for our group for 6. We appreciated her. While this place wasn't bad, it was mostly just ok. We will probably somewhere else next time we are in Maple Grove.
