Great donut spot in Langley. Ordered half a dozen and it was reasonably priced. Their donuts are so soft and pretty light. They have many flavor options. I enjoyed their maple donut that was filled. The service is fast and alot of customers are in and out just picking up donuts. Some seating inside and they have parking right at the front. It was not too busy when we went around 1pm. Quiet inside so you can meet with friends here.

I've been on a bit of a donut tear lately, and Gourmet Donuts was my latest stop. Although it doesn't measure up to places like Lucky's or Royal City Donuts in Vancouver/Burnaby, this quaint little establishment stands out in Langley. I was pleasantly surprised at how simple, fresh, and delicious the donuts were. By no means would I consider them gourmet, but they were quintessential donuts: fluffy, chewy, and sweet. I had the cinnamon sugar twist and apple fritter, both of which had great texture. Especially at under $2 a donut, you'd be hard pressed to find better bang for your buck. Everything was super fresh (8:30am on a Saturday morning), although I can see how they wouldn't taste as good near closing time. Just remember to go early!

Extraordinary tasting donuts! The pineapple donut had real pineapple jam filling inside reminiscent of pineapple cake. The dough of their donuts is light and fluffy. The powdered mango filled donut is also a must! The dulce de leche one tastes like Werther's caramel inside. Delicious and much better in quality and freshness than the majority of donut shops. Love how they have so many donut flavours to choose from including creative and colourful ones.

First time here. Great service as they were patient. With so many choices it was a hard decision.

Friendly service mediocre donuts. The donuts are not baked fresh and are in fact shipped over from Dawn Foods manufacturing. Nice selection of food.

So we needed some donuts and I thought we would give this small local shop a try. This shop has limited business hours and is typically open Monday to Saturday 6am to 5pm and Sunday 6 am to 4pm. This is the main reason I've never tried this shop before as it's typically closed by the time I decide I want a donut. We went in just before closing. The shop very clean. It was also busy and there were no empty tables. The menu was very clear and the shop also had a selection of coffee and other pastries We ended up getting a dozen donuts to go. Although there were plenty of donuts in the case I could see lots of empty trays so I knew the entire variety of donuts were not available to choose from. The staff member was very polite and I easily picked out some treats. I really liked that they put the donuts in two boxes so none of them got squished and the boxes was deep enough that the lid didn't touch the donuts. The donuts were, in a nutshell, delicious. They all tasted like they were freshly baked and were light and fluffy. None of the ones that I picked were too sweet and the donuts with filling had ample filling in them. This donut shop is one of Walnut Groves best kept secrets and I'll definitely be back.

Went here as the reviews were substantial! The doughnuts were very fresh, which was great! They were certainly more fresh and complex than Tim Horton's! Definitely worth trying, as you can't really go wrong with donuts!

Tasty vietnamese sub, coffee, and a doughnut for $5.99. An extra 90 cents because the asian sub is a speciallty, but very worth it. Delicious! I'd give a 5 star but the decor and signage aren't great. I'll be back

BUYER BEWARE - WEBSITE HACKED?…read more I've ordered from Republica a bunch of times before with no issues and really enjoy their roasts but my last order was a mess. Paid through their website using PayPal and the money went to some random business name I've never heard of. A few days later they emailed me saying they never got the funds and basically told me to contact PayPal to try to get the money back. Their explanation was that it was a "PayPal technical issue" and that I should always double check the payee name before sending money. That doesn't sit right with me. If I'm checking out on your official website I shouldn't have to second guess whether the payment is actually going to you. Their site was either hacked, their PayPal setup was compromised, or they misconfigured it. How can I check out on YOUR website, have a receipt showing 4 lbs of roasted coffee, but the seller name on PayPal is some random name not associated to them? In addition to that, when they contacted me about my order they accidentally CC'd other people who were most likely affected by the same issue. Their official responses: "Unfortunately, due to a technical issue with PayPal's payment system, some payments were mistakenly authorized to an account not associated with us. In some cases, transactions have shown the recipient's name as "Toko Maria" or "Toko Putri." Please note that Republica Coffee never received these funds." "We wanted to clarify that due to a recent technical issue with PayPal, some payments were mistakenly authorized to accounts not associated with Republica Coffee. If your transaction shows any recipient other than Republica Coffee Roasters Inc., the payment did not reach us. As a result, your current order has been cancelled, and you can place a new order." Instead of owning it they downplayed it, canceled my order, and asked me to order again!? I'm still fighting with PayPal to dispute the original charge with no success yet. Buy at your own risk.

1 Star -- Discriminatory and Hostile Toward Disabled Patrons…read more My experience at Gratia Café was deeply upsetting and reflects a profound lack of understanding of -- or respect for -- disability rights. I am a disabled individual who relies on a legitimate, clearly identifiable service dog. Rather than being treated with basic courtesy and professionalism, I was subjected to hostile behavior, scrutiny, and exclusionary conduct that made it unmistakably clear I was not welcome. Staff acted as though they were entitled to question or challenge the presence of a service dog, despite the fact that this is explicitly prohibited under British Columbia human rights law. Let me be very clear: Businesses do not get to interrogate disabled patrons, demand explanations of medical need, or treat service dogs as optional accommodations. A service dog is not a pet, and access is not conditional on staff approval, comfort, or personal beliefs. What made this experience particularly distressing was the demeaning tone and dismissive attitude shown throughout the interaction. Instead of de-escalation or accommodation, the situation was handled in a way that felt humiliating, stigmatizing, and discriminatory. Disabled people should never be made to feel like a problem simply for existing in public spaces with the supports they require. Accessibility is not a "preference" or a branding choice -- it is a legal and ethical obligation. Until Gratia Café undertakes serious staff training on disability rights, service animals, and inclusive customer service, I cannot recommend this establishment to disabled patrons or allies. This experience was not just disappointing -- it was unacceptable.
