MaxTech was not the least expensive, but the only truly responsive and responsible quote. And, having Max here on that visit gave me total confidence that MaxTech would deliver on their promise. And MaxTech *did* deliver, on the day they promised, and for the price quoted: four cameras, running Cat-5e in place of previous powered coax, integrated into our new Vivint-based system.

When I tried to cancel within 30 days, their customer service informed me that the actual cancellation period was only 3 days, and that I would need to pay $1,800 just to terminate the service not including the equipment fees. The sales representatives who came to my home in Waller were Daniel Hernandez and Jonathan Guzman, both of whom straight up lied to me just to make a commission. DO NOT sign up with these liars, you will regret it. Their manager, Angel, clearly doesn't care because this seems to be how they all operate -- lying to people to get sign-ups and money. It's disgusting business practice, and they should be ashamed of how they treat customers.

High Price, very rude…read more Hawk Security took over a few years ago when they bought out our old company. They demanded we "upgrade" just to keep the service, and jacked up the price by 78% from the old rate. We put up with this until this month, then found several companies with much better deals and service reputations. When I called Hawk they did not offer to match the lower rates, but insulted me instead and told me I had to pay in advance for June PLUS they would not cancel service for 30 days. I don't usually post reviews but you need to stay away from these guys, they are ALL about money and can't be bothered to even try to be polite.
