We had to say goodbye to our 15.5 year old boy, Tanner, on 7/01/2024. He was a long standing member of our family, and Dr. Annette made that a point. Home With Dignity Gave us such wonderful and gentle care over the phone when scheduling the appointment. Dr Annette provided end of life care with dignity and compassion. She was calm, polite, empathetic, and spoke to us and our other dogs with kindness. She allowed us time alone to grieve after the procedure, and made sure to let us know not to rush. My heart aches to those who have to make this decision for their family, but you couldn't make a better choice than Home With Dignity when you do.

I called Home with Dignity after having a horrible experience over the phone with Peaceful Partings. I had called them for information since my dog was dying and he was the first dog I ever had. The lady at Peaceful Partings was so cold and rude and hung up on me! Patricia, the woman that answered the phone at Home with Dignity, was so kind. I was crying hysterically and she explained the process to me and showed so much empathy and compassion. I told her I was taking my Gizmo in to the emergency vet to see if I could spare his life and then would be calling back. I ended up euthanizing him there because I didn't want him in any more pain. So, while I can't speak to the doctors at Home with Dignity, I can say that their staff cares and shows compassion for a grieving pet parent. Thank you, Patricia! You will never know how much you comforted me.

I was in denial that the longest standing member of my little family, Dante, needed to be let go. At 14.5 years old with high liver values and failing kidneys, my selfishness (as one of the other reviewers also stated) was the only thing keeping me from making the call. I had been away on and off as essential personnel for the military during the COVID-19 year so I didn't get much time with him in the last part of his life so that made it especially difficult making the decision. But Dante's vet recommended Dr. Humphreys services and I couldn't be more thankful. Ms. Patricia was so empathetic and it took me 2 phone calls (also as the other reviewer stated) to finally confirm an appt. The rest of the day felt unreal watching the clock and trying to squeeze the last few hours in with him. When Dr. Humphreys arrived at my sweet Dante's home, he was very tender with our occasion. His calm, soft spoken voice and gentle handling made the last moments with my sweet Dante and our family peaceful and (as advertised) completely dignified. Dr. Humphreys made the experience feel very personal and sacred. I held my dear boy as he slipped away, let out my last howls of sadness over his body, and walked him out to the car in a cozy blanket where I gave my last kiss and words goodbye. Even after driving away, Dr. Humphreys correspondence was nothing but sympathetic and words of comfort. I could not thank them enough...

One visit for my cat was because she was constipated, and instead of just giving her meds for that they highly recommended X-rays to rule out anything else, and it ended up still just being her constipated. (Cost around $300 for that.) They also never checked their temperatures, didn't do a full look over, and I just felt like they didn't truly take the time to do a comprehensive exam. After that I started taking my cats elsewhere where I felt like they received a more thorough exam that didn't leave me out hundreds of dollars for nothing. This last week I adopted a dog from the humane society and after a few days of her being home she started experiencing signs of kennel cough so I decided to bring her into the vet. The one I wanted to take her to couldn't get her in as quickly as they could so I decided to take my chances and give them another shot. I really wish I didn't. They told me to go to the back door when I got there and call them to let me in. I waited over 10 minutes outside in the wind to finally get brought in. The whole visit itself lasted maybe 10 minutes and they barely did a thing to check her out. They didn't get her temp, didn't look in her mouth, ears, or any of that. I had to ask for them to check her hips and other things and I ended up spending $72 for them to barely look at her. You would think for how much that visit costs that you would get a full exam, but apparently that shouldn't be expected. I will not be coming back and i honestly think I should be reimbursed for the money considering they barely looked at the dog. I DO NOT recommend this place to anyone. ***UPDATE: went to a different vet, and they found not only and ear infection but a bladder infection that this vet didn't even bother to check for after voicing concerns! I called the office and talked to their new manager, said the vet left notes in my chart and because of that they can't refund me?? The notes were things I stated to them. This vet is a joke. If you want to be ignored, treated like crap, and to get no answers then this is the place.***
