I called a few days ago to get an appointment for our dog... My call was finally returned fairly late that night, and I joked with Eric's wife that I thought they had forgotten about me! LOL! I mentioned that I had an English Shepard, and he had matting and probably would need to be shaved and bathed. She set me up with an 8 am appointment on Friday which really made me happy. With both my husband and I disabled, trying to get our dog to a groomer had become really difficult. Eric showed up right on time, but didn't want to use our driveway which his wife said he would... When I asked him why, he said it was a liability to him... okay I didn't know that, I would have expected my homeowners insurance would cover any problems in that area... Then I was concerned about the size of his truck and trailer. We live in a tiny cul-de-sac and have a lot of cars, and delivery trucks coming and going all day long. He made a comment i couldn't understand, and got into his truck. The next time I looked outside, he had vanished! I didn't know where he went, and I called him to find out where he had gone? Again I had trouble understanding what he was saying but before I could ask again, he hung up on me! I know i have trouble hearing, but even i can tell when someone is being disrespectful and rude to me... I checked outside the window again, and noticed he had parked at the end of the street where he couldn't possibly be in anyone's way, so I called him again and said I just noticed you found a great place to park at the end of the street! Would you like me to bring my dog to you? That's when he went off the rails! He said he'd never do any work for me because I harassed his wife and he wanted me to stop F****** calling him!! Whoa! I have no idea where any of that came from! He was recommended to us by our previous groomer because we were disabled and having such a difficult time getting around, and she said he was great... I trust her completely, but given the most recent posts, I believe he seriously needs a check-up... I'd be really concerned if there were a medical issue causing this enormous swing in his behavior. If anyone knows him well... talk to him and try to convince his wife that something isn't right. read more

We have 5 dogs that we've had groomed 1 time and tried to get 3 of the dogs bathed and 1 cut . In 2 months, he's rescheduled 5-6 times. I totally understand medical emergencies. it is unfortunate that i must leave a negative review for the doggie barber buisness today. eric the groomer is awsome, but the customer service personel are rude and terrible people that will eventually be the demise of this buisness, they never return calls or text, i have always paid $65.00 and gave a $10.00 tip, my wife and i are disabled and live on a very sad fixed income, the customer service person told me my sweet golden retriever has issues that need to be addressed, eric has always told me he was awsome, the person also told me since its been a few months since the last grooming that we were dropped as customers, and if we decided to us them again the price would now be $120.00,,, are appointments were canceled several times without any notice or contact, we were just left waiting around for hours for them to show up. eric is a great groomer and awsome with our dog,, it is unfortunate that he has a few employees that are terrible at customer service and if and when you do happen to finally speak to them, they treat you like dog poop. im saddened that this buisness has gone down the toklet because of bad customer service because we always loved the service eric provided our dog. good luck doggie barber, your going to need it!!! read more

Which, could be, but would it not be a great business idea to contact the Customer (me) before heading out to make sure no HUMAN Errors were made. Eric was very friendly, offered a great price, and my dog looked amazing afterwards. Unfortunately, the very next morning I received a text from Eric (the owner of the company) saying that I was no longer welcome as a customer, to not rebook ever, and to not tell anyone I know about his business all because I did not tip him. I then reached out to apologize and ask if he was serious and he sent me several texts essentially cursing me out. Then we spoke on the phone where I tried several times to apologize and he said "F*** You" and hung up on me. I'm not sure how this turned so negative because I genuinely liked the guy and was hoping to use his business for years to come. If I could select zero stars I would. I scheduled my appointment 2 weeks in advance to be called the day of to say they would need to reschedule due to something going on with the trailer. I was rescheduled for the same week at a later time 5 pm. I was texted that day saying they were running behind . Which led to offering me another time the next day. I told them I would not be able to do that due to conflict with schedule. I was then told basically to bad so sad lady I am not working late and in the dark. Which i questioned when I was being rescheduled and assured it was not a problem. He then tells me he works every day 7-7 doing this and is not even supposed to be doing it . Eric is possibly one of the most real and genuine small business owners that's left in this town. For those leaving bad comments you need to realize that he has to deal with weather, traffic conditions, and also city guidelines on how to operate. He does both of my dogs and has always communicated being early or late if needed. I won't use anyone else other then him. My family and I had been using Eric for his mobile dog grooming services for a few months. Our dogs always looked great and Eric appeared very kind and friendly. I referred him to several of my friends. This week my grandmother scheduled an all inclusive service for her dog and I scheduled an all inclusive service for my two dogs. In what appeared to be out of no where Eric abandoned my grandmother's 13 pound dog between the storm door and front door and canceled my grandmother's appointment. My grandmother called to see what happened and Eric proceeded to cuss out my 70 year old grandmother and call her names. He screamed at her because she asked for him not to fully cut her dog only to wash and blow out his fur. He continued to scream at her and cuss at her and then left. He then sent her a text telling her never to book with him again. I would never use his service based off of his erratic, unprofessional, unpredictable, and rude behavior. read more

UPDATE: Eric text me this morning calling me white trash (we NEVER met in person, he has no idea what I am and I was on the property in the main home) and demanding that I povide him with my insurance information as I supposedly caused his vehicle damage and he took pictures, which is illegal to do on private property without permission (he was driving his vehicle and manovering it, and my videos do not show any damage was done at all to his vehicle or trailer) I told him that I do not acknowledge any damage. STAY AWAY After texting with whom I assume was the owner, Eric for a few weeks prior to my scheduled appointment, letting him know that I live on a mountain and provided details and even asked if he was familiar with the area, I did mention that we were having contractors work on a rock retaining wall and that Sunday would work better than Friday. Our driveway is paved and we live on a mountain. He showed up today and met my husband half way up driveway and had an attitude instantly, stating he wasn't here to play games as my husband explained where to go and pull in (my husband did not help to direct him other than to motion to stop as he drove over our septic) we do have several level areas. He drove up to house, back around and promptly drove off without saying anything. Very unprofessional in person. Texting with him was fairly professional. I have all the text messages for anyone wanting proof of my prior information I shared. In my opinion: I highly recommend avoiding this business and if I could rate this business as negative 5. My dogs ALWAYS get excited when they see his truck (it's so cute). I've been to quite a few groomers over the years and Eric is by far the most outstanding. AVOID AT ALL COSTS Our first appointment that they re-scheduled was during their business hours. They had an issue And Said the only times they could fit us in was 6 am or 5 pm two days later! We chose 5pm obviously. Then, on the day of the 5pm appointment he sent us a message saying it was our fault that the dogs couldn't get groomed. Absolutely horrible Customer service. I have 3 dogs all of different size, age, temperament and grooming needs. We have been to 4 groomers on 2 different continents and hands down Eric has been the best of them all! One of our dogs is easily 120 lbs of fluff. He's also a giant baby who wants to snuggle and it's overall a challenge for me to even cut his nails. Eric worked magic and apparently our gentle giants was holding his paw up for Eric to cut and file his nails. Our other pups include a recently adopted senior citizen who spent most of her life as a street dog and also a very hyper Saint Bernard mix. He somehow managed to make the newly adopted senior dog smell amazing (she has the worst breath) and our hyper big gal looks so proper and fluffy! I am so impressed that he was able to adapt to all of their sizes and personalities and exceed all of my expectations the previous groomers we've used had set.
