    I'll say this, without a doubt the nicest as a whole hotel I have stayed at (that isn't $300 a night). Heck, it is half the price of a hotel in Chicago that wouldn't even be this nice. The Hilton Hotels did a good job with Home2Suites bc their hotel gyms are probably the best of all the Hiltons. This was an amazing hotel gym for hotel gym standards.

Hallway carpet is worn out, my handicapped room has a shower that leak all over the floor. A potential LAWSIUT due to avoidable safety concern. Stepping out on to a wet floor with mobility issues is a recipe for a fall. My TV is slow looks lite early 2000's at best. The security latch fell off. The staff does a half- hearted attempt at cleaning too. Like the Ramada at least I learned not to leave anything valuable. Once again garbage left on the floor. Along with a half baked attempt at "cleaning"( I wonder how her home looks? ) Dangerous leaking worn out duct tape style repairs. ( See photos ) A fridge that took multiple request to finally have the night shift guy remove it. Since no one on day shift could be bother to actually do the job there paid for. May I remind this is a" HILTON" I guess we'd rather spread lies on how great the place is than put real money in maintenance, The pool was like the staff NOT WORKING. So for full price you get No Pool , worn out rooms and a lazy unresponsive staff. Cleaning left this garbage yesterday. To much work like bending over to pick stuff of the floor. I'd rather stay a motel six at least I won't pay HILTON PRICES for MOTEL . QUALITY.. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY SUPER 8 OR EV3N MOTEL 6 ARE A MUCH BETTER VALUE ESPECIALLY IN THESE HARSH ECONOMIC TIMES!!

    Well I had a pipe bust above my bedroom last Saturday/ Sunday morning at 3 am. So I needed a long…read moreterm place to stay. This place is close to home and Is Not A Party motel. Very clean but worn. The ATM and first floor ice machine don't work. The don't work also applys to the weekend staff. My room was always clean and well kept.. Get this come the weekend this cleaning person takes my fritos and dip. But leaves two bags of garbage right next to the can! Really the early Saturday morning I'm sitting at the desk in my room it falls apart all my stuffs on the ground. OK stuff happens . I call the front desk and got no ones here. I guess he's on the don't work list ?? Anyway I take the broken table mind you I'm handicapped in a handicapped room. I take it and put in hallway MYSELF..Then the manager trys to get me to change rooms . Even further away from the parking lot .So no. Just don't leave anything valuable in your room I mean seriously a bag of Fritos ? And don't expect anything but a tired motel were the shower valve falls out of the wall. A low toilet in my handicapped room. A tiny shower matt. No shower chair ( I had to ask) So luckily I close to my apartment. So I brought my own toilet ring booster seat, my own shower matt and a step to aid getting in and out of the shower. The floor in the bathroom is an ice skating rink when wet Dangerous especially in a handicapped room. So for over a.$ 100 ++ a night? You get an old worn motel. So I'm stuck here until repairs to my apartment are complete. I GUEES RAMADA IS BUSY SPENDING MONEY ON C.E.O.s BUT NOT THERE RAGGEDY MOTELS BECAUSE THIS ONE IS JUST THAT OLD WORN N RAGGEDY.     By far one of the worst properties I could have ever stayed at I am a bus driver who stayed here…read morewith a team last night. I was never told where to park my bus upon arrival of hotel. on top of that my room stuff like an ashtray. The carpets were very dirty like they hadn't been cleaned in years then when I get back to the hotel with my team, I get a phone call in the middle of the night telling me to move my bus or it was gonna be towed, and the team would be kicked out over it as well when they had nothing to do with it. The security guard decided to get real antsy with me and called me a derogatory term then, when I went to the general manager about it in the morning, she decided to take the hotel staff side instead of hearing what I had to say needless to say it shows how this hotel is ran the GM is complete and utter trash needs to work on her professionalism the night auditor needs to learn to come to work in uniform and not regular clothes so that way he can be recognized as an employee and not look like someone who shouldn't be working behind the front desk needless to say I called Wyndham support to file a complaint against the hotel but I feel like that's probably gonna go nowhere. Trust me when I say it don't waste your time with this hotel keep looking it's not worth it.

Our first room the beds were completely broken down and when you turned over the extent noise of the springs kept us up throughout the night. Second room the toilet was continuously running and observed the carpet under the a/c unit was soaked from water dripping onto it. Yes both items were corrected. Went for breakfast and observed a large bug crawling all over the breakfast area and when I brought it to their attention, they stated it's only a large ant. I don't care if it's a small ant, roach or fly it was totally disgusting. I was threatened to be charged $75 stating I had not had a service dog that, he was an emotional support animal. I advised them, I have a letter documented by a licensed provider stating he is a medically necessary service dog. Lastly getting stuck in the elevator after pushing the button for help, screaming and banging on the door upon the door, finally opening and a employee standing outside, tells me what's the problem I pushed the button and it opened OK it might've opened on the outside, but it did not on the inside. She then asked me are you sure you didn't press a button absolutely I pressed number one to go to the ground floor. Upon coming up to our room and having three lung surgeries, the whole floor smelled like marijuana called Schererville Police Department and two officers and all of a sudden, a director of sales showed up and yes, they did observe the smell. Also observed a family spraying Febreze in the hallway. Would I ever recommend staying here again absolutely not.

Called and made reservations a month IN ADVANCE only to show up and have Finley at the front desk tell us, as my fiance is swiping his card, that we only had 1 room reserved and the price of the 1 room was almost double of what we had on our reservation. When we explained to her we reserved 2 rooms she had the most arrogant, smug grin on her face like we were full of sh*t and had no idea what we were talking about. When I pulled up our reservation email and also showed her our reservation online on Hilton.com that entire look changed. We asked to speak with her manager, there was NO MANAGER ONSITE. she called her manager and she told us her manager said we could pay the price of the rooms and email our documents to her manager for a refund of thr difference. When I asked what the turnaround time was for that, she had no idea. I asked her to call her manger again and ask. At this point, my fiance is walking our childrent back to the car. As she was in the back talking to her manger, Finley starts laughing very loudly while on the phone then returns and says she couldnt give us a turnaround time. At that point we decided we were not staying and we wanted a refund. She told us they dont usually do refunds but they would make an exception this time. I asked her for a receipt showing the refund, and she started to say they didn't print receipts, I cut her right off and said you print stuff out when you check people out, so you can print my refund receipt. Waited 5 minutes for her to figure out how to do that and it still did not show an actual refund. NEVER AGAIN!! ABSOLUTELY GROTESQUE UNPROFESSIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Finely and her "manger" absolute put a severe stain on the Hilton Brand. We were thinking of using this hotel for a block of rooms for our upcoming wedding for our guests from out of town, ya we will absolutely pass!! Save your money and your time. The staff here could care less about their customers.

The breakfast was decent and coffee and tea flowing all day . The hotel was very clean and new. I do have to say the house keeper Deja was very nice and attentive towards me and my coworkers . Having mobility challenges I asked for a room with a roll in transfer shower. We received a walk in shower instead. That doesn't work for us! So the manager moved us to the correct room. He explained the system had the wrong type room assigned to the one we were given. Was told it was a tech problem. Really? When we finally got to the correct room we find a broken table. So the manger had to replace it. Curtains were inoperable, so we could not roll them up to let the sun shine in the room. Then there was no shower soap in the container in the shower. So the manager had to get that replaced. The shower floor was too slippery for handicapped people. Had to be very careful not to fall. Soap dispensers are behind the shower bench seat. So if you're sitting in the shower you have to get up and turn around to get the shower soap. How dumb is that set up for handicapped people. Not to mention, the water never got hot. Warm enough eventually to take a shower but not hot. Plus, the hand held shower wand was basically useless. Water would only trickle out of it. All in all there were too many problems that could have been avoided if there was a good quality control system in place. Thanks to Elijah for showing us he cared. Was promised I would receive some compensation for all the inconveniences we had. That never happened!Would I return to this hotel, No way!

Is it located immediately adjacent to a crazy busy freeway? Yes. Did I see heroin needles and trash littering the parking lot? No. Did the hotel have a funky smell? No. Did I try the complimentary breakfast? No. Did the price for a night of lodging seem reasonable for the location and experience? No. What I got is very friendly service from each staff member. A clean room with a comfortable bed. A decent shower. A surprisingly good sleep with very few interruptions from highway noise. Overall, it worked for what we needed and I'd consider a return in the future.

The room was outdated and had a moist feel in the air. The bottom of the bathroom shower curtain was filled with mold at the bottom. Not sure the last time it had been changed after guest stays. My son wore white socks around in the room and the bottom of his socks quickly became dirty. Room had dirty carpeting. On our first night there, it was a hard rain in Hammond and the window began leaking steadily at around 1am in the morning next to where my daughter was sleeping on the sofa bed. We notified the front desk of the issue and she asked if we wanted to move rooms. We said yes but since this would have been the 2nd room change it was a big inconvenience with moving all of our things (children) again so we ended up staying there. Thank God the weather subsided so there was no addtl leaking but a bubble formed above the window. On the second floor, our entire 2 night stay the icemaker never had nor seemed to made ice. Ice maker was on but not working at all. Breakfast options were good and dining area always clean and up kept. My husband and I were surprised and disappointed about the value and quality of this location as we are frequent Fairfield Inn patrons and other locations are normally quite comfy and clean. This location was not unfortunately.
