This place is new-to-me and I noticed it when dining across the road at Afra. At first glance, it looks like a home decor store, but it is actually more like Ollie's or Big Lots. I was excited to stop in after lunch, after seeing a sign that they had wine. It is a huge store, so I took my time browsing. The wine selection is enormous. They had really cheap name brand socks (Reebok), and honestly, cheap everything. Lots of garden decor, furniture, snacks, beer, booze, party supplies, etc. etc. I got a lot of stuff that I wasn't expecting to find. I will def. stop back when I am on Morse again. read more

Interesting.The Columbus store was mentioned on national news as a place to find a real bargain. The actual store didn't rise to the quality description given.This place has lots of overstock items ranging from florals to furniture, OSU paraphernalia to office supplies, stationary to staples, wine to water and lots in between. Everything is clearly marked and pretty organized in a large space. (Located next to Franklin Co Board of Elections) Most items are of LOWER QUALITY and OFF BRANDS. Not that much savings on most items. But may be lucky to find a good buy. Reportedly, the merchandise rotates frequently. Worth it to peruse their substantial wine and beer selections including closeouts. You can find some savings here. A deep discount store that has a big wine selection and has Boones Farm that's hard to find.The prices to me are higher than Walmart but it depends on what your looking for.I say walk around until you find a deal but glad to see retail in the Forest Park neighborhood read more

I'm a little confused with the low ratings people are giving this DISCOUNT STORE. The premise is IN THE NAME. You should know that discount hodgepodge stores have a little bit of everything, and this store - a hyped up Big Lots-meets-At Home has a great selection of stuff to keep you aisle perusing for a good while. They don't really get to "pick and choose" their stock (what they get is what they get), so knowing this, reviews can't be based on readily supply. I picked up a few much needed items for home - some scissors, a cool thick memory foam orange slice design mat, and high protein granola (low sugar - yay!!) to try in my morning oats. Oh, and SOCKS!! Several huge bins full of socks up by the front doors; $5 for six-packs, many with cool bright geometric designs. IMO, a gal can never own too many snazzy decorated socks, it's a definite thang!8 read more

I've been to the Home Buys Store on Georgesville Rd. many times. The new store on Morse Road was incredibly better. The new store was clean and organized. The staff was out in the store so that you didn't have to chase any one down to ask questions about where you might find something. The store was nicely organized and clean! Can't say that was true at the Georgesville store. The staff here are friendly and greeted us as we entered the store. As you go through the store, take your time to check out the merchandise that they do have. Overall, I was pleased and we will visit here again. read more

Love this store. They have really good prices , especially on wine! They actually have a great selection of alcohol. My favorite wine to get from here is Adesso. It is so hard to find in any other store, but Homebuys always has it. If you like deals definitely check this store out. read more

Me and my friend went to look for work bags. She found 2 that she liked but none of the bags had price tags on them. Mind your there was 10 bags of the same style none of them had prices. Asked 1 worker he said ask at the register. Get to the register and the worker doesn't know she goes and asked her manager came back and said "my manager said said doesn't know and isn't trying to help me" she asked another coworker and he said a manager has to do it... cool where the manager we can ask ourselves... go over to the manager, she like I'm not sure, we have to wait for the prices to come in, haven't got a response yet. WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU PUT OUT PRODUCTS FOR PEOPLE TO PURCHASE AND NOT HAVE A PRICE??? If you know u can't sell it until u have a price why put it on the floor????? She wasn't very polite and didn't have any Manager Manners! She didn't even want to help her own workers asking for help! I'm a huge fan of homebuys, but not this location. I have been here 3 times, all negative experiences. It's poorly stocked and unorganized and the staff are rude. The cashier, kattie, was annoyed I decided to not buy 3 items and instead of dropping them on a random shelf I gave them to her. She rolled her eyes and said "ok I guess". Then she rang in the blanket and stated the price, as if to question if I still wanted it. At the end, she repeated my total 3 times. kattie, i heard you sweetie, just digging my cash out of my designer purse, I have it.. I make your paycheck in 1 day. Then I got to my car and saw she overcharged me by ringing an item twice.. Never coming back to this location. I spend hundreds at this company, but not at this store ever again. Maybe they could use a staff meeting to teach customer service, or a manager who cares about the store. Ill drive an extra 20 min to clime next time! read more
