She then asked if they were purchasing an item that was clearly with the stuff they were purchasing? It was unusual to ask since it was literally in the pile of items on the counter. The male had to put some things back which is totally understandable and when he came back he mentioned to his wife they were "following him" which sounds ridiculous but I swear this store makes you feel like they think you're stealing! So I do not doubt that they were making these two feel that way as well. Then they paid with cash and Nancy checked every single bill even the $1's to see if they were counterfeit, I get that this is all probably part of her job but when you don't take a break and ask how someone is or make any effort at customer service it leaves a bad taste in people's mouths. The woman manager was standing by the sliding doors the entire time, and someone actually asked why they stand there (you go person!) and the woman manager said "to make sure everyone gets lunch at the right time" in a jokey tone. I'm telling you- this place just comes across like they think you're a criminal and it's a freaking CRAFT store, cmon. Anyways- I had no issues with my interaction at the register but watching the people ahead of me be treated so poorly was sad. I really really wish they'd get their customer service skills in order because the prices and items are better (in my opinion) then other craft stores.

The thrift store had ample parking and was in a large building. It had a little bit of everything. There's a small section of cookware, China, and bric a brac near the front of the store. But nothing too exciting. A lot of women's clothing, a small section with books, toys, CDs, etc. And on one side of the store, some furniture. Prices were quite inexpensive. All clothing was only $2.99 that day. And seniors got other discounts. There was a great leather chair that would been perfect for us -- if it had been in Fort Lauderdale (!) -- but was too bulky to drive around with. My husband did find a shirt that he liked. And it was a bargain at under $2! I'm sure we'd stop back by if in the area. These places get lots of donations here and the merchandise changes often.

They are only open Thursday's through Sunday so we lucked out. They have only been open in this location for a short while. They do a lot of estate sales and work with realtors and decorators, so they have some amazing one of a kind vintage items. The place is large inside (but tastefully arranges) so you'll want to take your time browsing. And there's even an outdoor area with trellises and patio related stuff. Around every corner is another treasure. But it's so nice to find very reasonable prices that anyone could afford to shop here. The co-owners were very personable and nice enough to patiently answer all our questions. Some of the large dramatic pieces (there's a huge elephant picture for example; furniture) each has a story to go along with them. And the gals are happy to tell you the background. As we were traveling in the area, we were looking at their smaller intriguing items -- teapots, candelabras, pillows, jewelry, small figurines, accessories, etc. etc. If you are a collector, you'll probably find something here you can't pass up to add to your collection.
