Today is 12/14/24 7pm. Just left this location and gotta say I came across an employee who should NOT be working customer service. She was the cashier with the stankiest look on her face I've ever seen. She had some sort of stickers on her face. I said something and she ignored me, grabbing my items without care, my 9 year even said she was rude. Who ever employed this girl should have a talk with her. This is not okay!! You chose to work customer service, be better at it. At least smile and give eye contact. It's the basics! We the customers are what keeps this business/location running. Every single time that I go in and end up purchasing something from this particular location, there is always a HUGE line of customers at check out and 1 checker. This morning the line was 12 deep with 1 checker! Absolutely ridiculous! While tons are on the floor stocking! They FINALLY called up for more help while the line gre longer and longer and all of us customers sighed and expressed our frustration! Location is really easy to find in Federal Way centrally located up 3 120 St. in a parking mall shopping mall parking is always a pain in the butt because it's a really busy shopping center the hours open are pretty flexible and long hours and they have just come back to normal since Covid so that's nice you can find almost everything here it's a fun store I like to go look up and down every aisle I can find anything from my dog stuff to picture frames two spices two glassware two throw pillows for my couch I absolutely adore HomeGoods stores and I like to go to each and everyone in whatever town I'm in always a good place to kill a couple hours and if you don't be careful you can spend more than you want to you've been warned but it's a perfect place to buy a gift for someone including yourself read more

I found Homegoods in 2021 & lowkey have been obsessed ever since. I don't really know how you couldn't like this place. It's literally removing all the access junk you don't want in outlet stores, and putting just the home stuff you want under one roof. Works for me! And this store is always clean and organized with friendly staff and fast lines. I will say that their Furniture never seems to be discounted enough. Everything else is a win! read more

I love this place! Perfect place to pick up anything and everything for the Home. Be forewarned: you may end up leaving this place with things you don't really need... like the humongous wooden horse at the entrance or maybe the super de duper giant giraffe. Hmm.. could be perfect for an entry way with high ceilings. It's quite tempting! A-ha! Maybe it's what I need after all. I do need some company. I was in search of a couple perfect lamps for my sofa table. Alas! They didn't have the one I wanted. They usually have more of a variety of lamps but must have sold out. You snooze.. you loose I guess. I still enjoy going from aisle to aisle looking at what they have to offer. I can be here for hours! Their prices are excellent! I have purchased a few odds and ends here in the past from an entry way ottoman to wall decors to kitchen gadgets to candle holders, etc. I've never had any issues with the staff. I have always found them to be quite helpful and friendly without being too overbearing. I get asked if I need any help or assistance. It could be that I look quite lost. Oh my! So I'd been hearing about this place for awhile from friends. I had never been & the time was finally right for a visit. Imagine you take all the home goods stuff from a Marshalls, Ross, TJ Maxx and Fred Meyer store & put it all under one roof. This is what you would get. A wide variety of linens, dishes, candles, furniture, specialty foods & more. They had lots of cute fall decor out being the beginning of September. I didn't see anything leftover from summer. :( Prices seemed fair. Condition of merchandise good. Huge shopping carts for such narrow aisles full of breakables. I bet at least one item gets broken every hour there. Do NOT bring your young kids here! They will hate it & would probably break something you would have to pay for. read more

This place is fun to browse and is worth browsing bi-weekly because new merchandise comes in weekly. Browsing is mostly what I do here because the quality of furniture is ikea-like with a larger price tag. It reminds me of Marshalls and Ross except all home goods. read more

I don't think I have ever really rated a store like this, but feel it's important because this place is great. Unfortunately, I don't have a big enough house to shop here regularly, because there are some really great items, particularly dishes and kitchen items. They are all at really great prices too! The store was really clean, having been open since June and part of the Marshal's family, I was expecting the same as Marshal's which are usually a mess, cluttered and just feels cheep. The store itself is super clean and organized and it's probably the best home goods I've ever been to but the customer service is trash. I go to the cashier to pay for my stuff and she doesn't even greet me. No "hello how are you today" NOTHING. The girl who was a cashier didn't say anything at all and just stared at me like she had a problem. I pay and she gives me my receipt and again doesn't say anything at all. I love Home Goods! This place has really great finds. You never know what you'll find here. Everything comes from high end stores. This chain is owned by the same owners of Marshalls, and they send the better stuff in the home decor, furniture, and kitchen areas to Home Goods. They also have a small selection of toys. My mom bought me this stunning Italian glass dish on a sterling silver base that is a foot across and just took our breath away. It was only $40! Everyone who sees it thinks it costs a hundred, minimum. I've bought really great Halloween stuff like cute kitchen towels, placemats and a tablecloth and decor. I have bought several picture frames at a fraction of the cost they were selling for elsewhere. The artificial plants are all great and I've bought some for business purposes. The seasonings and cookie kits, decorative home touches, birthday gifts and dishes have all been very reasonably priced. I have a Ralph Lauren end table lamp I got here for $60 that was selling for $250 at Macy's. read more

Went through a whole predicament here regarding delivery (via 3rd party service called Lugg) for furniture purchased at Home Goodes that they recommended to us. Lugg was great, super fast, efficient, friendly. How the delivery app works is that you submit your pickup/delivery reservation, you provide your receipts and invoices and specify exactly what is being picked up. Problem is, whomever the sales associate is they were working with only allowed them to pick up 1 piece of furniture (this is according to what the Lugg delivery guys were telling me) instead of the 2 pieces that were purchased and specified for pickup/deliver. After speaking with the manager, she pointed the blame back the other direction at the delivery guys. Lugg then told me they were NOT going to go back to the store unless I spoke to Lugg customer support (which only operates via Email I might add). I was not going to pay double delivery fee for miscommunication that occurred between HomeGoods and the delivery service. After voicing my frustration at both parties, I had to get everyone on a conference call to resolve the matter. Delivery truck just went back to the store to pick up the 2nd piece. Bottom line - very frustrated customer. Did not feel that HomeGoods really cared about my situation. read more

I love the store and the collection. This is last week experiences I purchased 4 items and told the person who helped me by brother is coming to picked up it can not fit my car. My brother went to picked it up with recite the item is not available. since I am regular customer I told him that I will pick it up. He left without the item, I went last week this is what the store Manger told me 1. I need pink slip with out pink slip they can not hold, 2. they only hold 24 hours even I pay for it. What I told her that first of all I was not the one ask the pink slip her employee should give me the pink slip second there is no such thing paid hold for 24 hours, if I did not pay they can hold 24 hour and sell it. Went on opening weekend.....The parking lot was packed but there didn't seem to be that many people inside?? It was just OK - nothing that you don't see at Ross/Burlington..... their prices were the same as other outlet stores. I think I like Home Goods a little more than its sister TJ Maxx, just because it seems like there's more of a focus on home stuff (fitting enough given the name) instead of clothing. Not that I dislike clothes. But there are only so many racks of designer shirts you can paw through before everything starts to look the same ("hey! I just saw this pink ruffle shirt three aisles ago!") The store is clean and crowded, prepare to do battle with scores of middle aged women wielding tiny carts and huge vases, dishes and kitchenware. No seriously, be careful. They won't think twice about running you over. Home Goods has a pretty good selection of home decor (paintings, mirrors, wall decor) and the usual selection of kitchen stuff, dishes, drinkware and etc. The middle section has a good selection of garden ware (so if you've ever wanted a ceramic frog for your garden this would be a good place to look). Where I think they really outshine TJ is in the furniture department - not a huge selection by any means, but definitely larger than a lot of places. Plus, their furniture wasn't all completely ugly (just most of it - rimshot!) Amusingly enough, DH and I looked at a canister at TJ Maxx that was several dollars more expensive at Home Goods. Not sure what that means. The lines are never too bad (except at the holidays, where it's been scientifically proven that people who normally wouldn't be caught dead in a mall stand in lines just to annoy other people). The few time I've interacted with the employees have all been pleasant, none of them seem like they're borderline sociopathic. read more

BE WARE... IF YOU HAVE HAPPY CHILDREN!!!! I have been shopping at this Homegoods for 4 years now. There has been a new manager, he is a guy. He is TOTALLY awesome. The unfortunate part is that he works days. At night the "so called" manager - Lori, blond curly hair with kids in their 30's (she told us), who is nasty. She reprimended my grandchildren while we were sitting by the nutcrackers. They were only doing what I did which was gently making the nutcracker talk. She walked up to them squated down and told them off, not bothering to look at me or say anything to me. I was shocked. I tried to find her but she disappeared. Then she went to the counter where she kept staring at me. So I asked her name. She then began to hassle me and my daughter. I am thoroughly discusted with this behaviour. I spend about 500 each MONTH at this store. I believe I'm done shopping there. read more

In my personal opinion Home Goods is a glorified TJMaxx or Marshals with a higher price tag & minus the clothing. After buying many things here including large items over $1000 I was very disappointed when an item that was marked $59 rang up at the register as $129. After being told by the cashier that it was marked incorrectly and her cutting the tag off and then the manager coming up and stating that he would only give it to me for $100 was ridiculous the item was actually broken and and they wanted to charge me $100 for it!! I will not be coming back to home goods I'm done. This is the fourth or fifth time that I have allowed them to take advantage of me I would encourage everyone to watch what they purchase here. read more

Lots of little knick knacks, décor, large pillow section as well as baby items. They are the same owner as TJ Maxx, so they are the same concept discount store as all those Marshall's, Ross, etc. Don't let the term discount store put you off though! They carry name brand items and I saw plenty of Tahari & Calvin Klein bedding sets as well as unique small furniture items. I would definitely come here first when looking for something unique or furnishings/dressing for my home! read more

Went on a weeknight and it wasn't crowded at all. As other reviewers have said, it's super clean and well-organized! Everyone working was friendly and available if I had questions, but generally left me alone (which I LOVE - nothing worse than being followed around a store while I sniff every candle and touch every throw pillow). I was there on 2/24/17. I purchased 2 throw rugs and some kitchen gadgets. Got to the checkout line. On arrival there were 4 people behind the counter but only one customer at the register. I was up next. After a couple of minutes one of the 4 workers went out on the floor. Another minute later another worker told me it shouldn't be too much longer and she also went out on the floor. Ok so customer service is not their strong point. The rugs were the wrong color so I brought them back on 2/10/17. The worker behind the counter started smelling the rugs. He spent a good amount of time smelling the rugs and making sure they were still in new condition. One of the rugs did not have a tag so he asked me bluntly if I had removed the tag. I was a little frustrated at this point. He stated that before the rugs went back on the floor they needed to make sure they didn't smell. I said maybe you could have done that after I left or before you put them back on the floor. Ok so customer service is really not their strong point. read more

So I was in the area and decided to check to see what this new store carried. I wasn't planning on buying anything. However, It had a lot of nice decor items and other home essentials such as rugs, pillows, bedding, frames plus other great items and the prices were amazingly cheap! I ended up purchasing a bath rug set for $23, I think it was a steal! I also noticed plenty of brand name products such as DKNY, Nautica and Ralph Lauren among others. I definitely liked shopping here and will be back for more browsing soon! read more

Terrible experience ...I needed assistance with a rug and when I came up to an enlisted and asked her about it , she didn't react.. and acted like it was annoying or something.. I felt so uncomfortable.. I wanted to tell her "nvm I'll ask someone else ".. cuz it wasn't like I needed her help exactly, I just needed help because I couldn't get it of the hooks. They actually have to do it . And then after 10 seconds she talked to another employee and told her to help me, without a single word to me.. like I wasn't there.. no sign of like "yeah let me get you someone" ... I literally wanted to just walk out ...she completely ignored me . I literally wanted to ask her if it's that hard for her to do then it's fine. Just think if I'm gonna spend my money here, I deserve some kind of respect.. so upset. I worked in so many customer service related jobs and would never act in such a rudely manner. read more

I'd heard of the Homegoods store in Federal Way and finally made my way south to check it out. I wasn't impressed, first of all, for some reason half the lights in the store were turned off...there wasn't a power outage because all other stores in the complex had all their lights on. I also interacted with 3 different employees in the store and 2 of the 3 were a bit unfriendly like I shouldn't be bothering them. They do have a large selection of home goods, obviously...but I wasn't impressed with the pricing of most things. I actually walked down to TJ Maxx right after visiting Homegoods and found several of the same products at better prices. I'll continue to shop at TJ Maxx and I would suggest going their first before going to HGs. read more
