Ralph sat down with me to sketch out my dress- it was perfect, but I wasn't ready to start the process as I was in the process of moving. My best friend had encouraged me to go to "just look", but I fell in love with the designs in the boutique and made a deposit towards my dress shortly thereafter. Over a year later, now ready to start the wedding planning, I contacted him to make my dress in less than 6 months. He actually obliged me and they still had my sketch on file despite it being over a year! Several fittings later, my gown came out beautifully and I am ecstatic that I chose JRT. All very reasonably priced, which is getting rarer and rarer for secondhand shops. I always try to stop in when I am in town and usually walk out with something new! And the even better news is that you are right on a busy street with other shops, cafes, restaurants, ice cream shops, boba shops, everything shops. So don't make the trip here just for a quick pop in, walk around and enjoy Somerville afterwards. I do believe you can bring in things to sell which I desperately need to do! In my mind Kohl's always existed in the retailing ether somewhere between Target and Macy's with a level of promotional bribery that neither store could match.
