They have a good sized seating selection-from bar stools to dining chairs to accent chairs. We picked up a chair we needed for a bedroom corner. It is comfortable enough and used more than we thought. We've also They also have a large number of rugs. Need a side table-they have it. Bedding, kitchen decor and general cute things to personalize your home-lots to chose from. To be honest, I can't say I've been in every area of the store-even though our first time here, we spent over an hour walking through the store. And we've been here now a number of times. There is just so much to look at!! I haven't noticed what others described as a mess. And the service has been quite good for us. We were greeted by Jeffrey Slaton, and informed him what we were looking for, and what our size limitations were. He directed us to several different sets, and we had decided on one particular set. Jeffrey then went to check to see if it was in stock, with my wife in tow. While they were busy doing that, I continued to look around, and spotted a set we hadn't seen before. I sat at it, and thought it would be the perfect set for our dining area. When he and my wife came back to find me, I suggested it to my wife, and she agreed it would suit our home dining space. We also purchased a bench to go with the dining set, and a desk. Jeffrey was very courteous, very accommodating, answered all our questions, and most of all, didn't pressure us into making a decision. We would definitely shop at The Furniture Warehouse in Ellenton again, if we have any future furniture needs. They have a great selection at many different price points.

We were buying two $900/each recliners then were told it would be $149 for delivery. To soften the blow he said that would cover all purchases for a year. We then decided to also purchase a chair and a couch. Well, they added on another $50 delivery. What? He had just said it would cover all orders for 12 months. Nope. The couch was a floor model so it adds on another $50. One of the back corners had the back loose for the about 10 inches towards the top. The salesperson said he would have someone there staple it back. When we received the couch, the upper portion of the back had indeed been restapled. However, the rest of that corner below that was flopping open. Someone who said she was in charge of the repair dept. at corporate called and said that they would do nothing to correct it. She said that it was a floor model, therefore we had implicitly accepted any and all damage. That seems like a pretty nasty response. Doubly so since it was NOT damaged like that when we bought it.

I was a first time buyer and ordered a brand new side-by-side refrigerator from the Clearwater…read morelocation #4185 at the beginning of January 2023 and after a two month wait it was ready for delivery. They didn't call me so I called them and it had arrived. They must only deal with dented and damaged appliances, but I thought I was waiting 2 months and getting a new undamaged item. I pre-paid the full amount for the merchandise when I ordered but the delivery charge is a separate transaction as they use a third-party trucking company which wasn't a problem as they called ahead and arrived on time. I met the delivery driver curbside as they unboxed the item to find significant damage beyond repair. I've posted the photos of the damage so you could have a good laugh! I refused shipment and immediately as the damage was catastrophic. The salesman agreed to refund both the purchase price and shipping charge and send me an email receipt but that never happened......too busy with customers. You're only as good as their next sale! After looking closely at the photos of the damage I concluded that the refrigerator was damaged before it was packed for shipping as the packing material wasn't damaged on the outside...in other words they knowingly shipped me a damaged refrigerator after waiting 2 months. It looks like it was poked by a forklift and dropped to a concrete floor. Unless you're feelin' lucky, avoid this company like the plague!

In a nutshell, I'm always right, he's always wrong...just in case you were wondering. That being said, we're currently selling our rental home to purchase a newer home more suitable to our needs. Furniture shopping was on the docket and I was already dreading it...much like my career choice or a splinter in my favorite finger...you know the one . He finally bribed me to accompany him with the threat he's bring home an animal print sofa, tightened up my running shoes ‍ and Forrest Gump'ed my butt right to the passenger seat. Over my dead body would it look like we sleighed our furniture on a damn safari. He walked while I lagged shortly behind muttering under my breath about the immediate dread of this process, he opened the door to Bradenton Furniture Outlet where I was ready to fight for my life to find what we needed and not have to sell my organs to do so. That's where me met the most wonderful human to deck the halls of a furniture store. He was polite, knowledgeable and wasn't chasing after us like our bill collectors. (J/k about the bill collector part, but you get the gist). We perused for all of about 15 minutes & for the first time ever we both agree on a piece...a beautiful sectional ‍‍, to adorn our home and to make permanent butt prints in. Even though it was quite literally perfect, I'm a little OCD and like to cover all bases just like a home run hitter so I wanted to shop around. We talk to Ray, get a price on a beautiful TV console with fireplace , everything just felt right. Except for the inner child telling me to shop around. We head out and walk into a competitor store and it feels ice cold , like my heart can be according to this guy beside me when he tells me my latest Goodwill find is 'weird.' We walked around, it didn't feel homey, and sales staff just didn't feel personable. Maybe they were, who knows?! I mean apparently I have RBF but when I look at myself I just don't see it! The vibe was just off. It definitely was not the kind of Sales crew that you can joke about needing a rug for your other half's body if they don't agree with you on the couch to leave with. They would've literally called 911 and sent me straight to prison ... but not Ray. He would probably joke with me and offer to help me pick one the perfect rug for the job. That's just his vibe. Ray is a solid dude, great personality, like I wanted to hand him my whole wallet and shop there all day, except we wouldn't get much from that process. Maybe a Biggie bag from Wendy's or a lightbulb out of one of their awesome lamps. His store had numerous things we loved, great prices, no haggling needed and we were well taken care of...just like that McDonald's cheeseburger meal when the hangover hits minus the grief and immediate regret. I recommend Ray & the Bradenton Furniture Outlet hands down. I like Ray more than many family members at this point, that's how great of an experience you'll have shopping there. There is so much good stuff packed into this small little shop; it was a really fun browsing and each pass I saw something I hadn't seen the last time around. Monica was amazing at asking questions about my style and helping direct me to a section that might fit my style the best (and it did!). As more of a minimalist, I wasn't sure if I would find anything, but I did! I found a beautiful wooden tray, a faux orchid, decorative draping succulents, and a beautiful light pink satin top. The staff were always staying near by to help me grab something I liked that was up high or grab something from the back for me, and answer any questions so I didn't have to walk all the way to the front of the store to ask for help. They would offer to hold things for me if I ever found something I was considering so I didn't have to hold it while browsing (very helpful since my tray and orchid were both a handful). It helped me keep my hands free to continue looking. I definitely recommend this store for anyone who isn't sure what to buy someone as a gift, or if you know someone who is incredibly picky like myself, a gift card to this shop is definitely a great choice!
