The wifey and I went to see how we could decorate our home. We highly recommend this store. They have so many nice stuff. We got helped by a young lady name Maria. She was so helpful. She walked us to what my wife was looking for. When we were ready to pay We had found some stuff that where kind of damaged. We asked the cashier for a discount and they call the manager. Located in the Mountain Grove Shopping Center is a combined Homegoods and TJ Maxx. I like shopping in Homegoods' snack section. They usually have good snack items that I would not find in a typical grocery store. Stuff I purchased w/a $25 gift card and paid a balance of $30.72 above the card 4 Wellness food items 1 Bath and Body item 2 Haircare items 1 Kitchen item Great selection of household items in the various categories. Was visiting Redlands fairly recently and went into TJ Maxx first. Then adventured into the Homegoods. Both stores were organized and clean as it was a Sunday morning, just opening for the day. This Homegoods is combine store with TJmaxx . Other discounted stores in the same plaza are Ross and Nordstrom Rack , gap outlet , hobby lobby & banana republic outlet I kinda of giggle a bit walking around the store. I noticed a few male partners looked a bit tired and bored . If you are looking for your female partners just head to your local home goods perusing the aisles lol!! Extremely disappointing experience due entirely to poor management. My wife and I drove nearly 50 miles to this location after being told they had a specific set of picture frames we had been searching for across multiple HomeGoods stores in Southern California. Two frames we previously purchased from HomeGoods turned out to be broken once removed from their packaging, so we brought them with us to do an even exchange -- something we've done many times over nearly 20 years of shopping at HomeGoods. The cashier Orin was polite, professional, and willing to inspect the replacement frames before completing the exchange. However, once the store manager Alex arrived, the entire experience went downhill. From the moment he approached us, Alex was rude, arrogant, and condescending. He immediately claimed we had to return to the original Corona store and made up a policy that directly contradicts standard HomeGoods corporate practices. We've exchanged damaged items at different HomeGoods locations countless times over the years without issue. Only after I challenged him and stated I would contact corporate did he suddenly reverse course and tell the cashier to honor the exchange -- proving this was never a real policy issue. Despite being clearly in the wrong, Alex offered no apology, no empathy, and no accountability. This behavior is unacceptable, especially toward loyal customers who have spent tens of thousands of dollars with this company. Mistakes happen, but how management handles them matters -- and Alex handled this situation in the most unprofessional way possible. The cashier Orin deserves credit. The manager does not. Unless corporate addresses this leadership problem, I would strongly caution others about shopping at this Redlands location. read more

Beautiful huge store with lots of items to pick from! We bought some items for a gift and we're worried they would scratch or break. I mentioned it to Amy our awesome cashier. She carefully wrapped each item individually and didn't make faces nor seemed annoyed while doing it. That's customer service right there! This is one of my favorite stores to buy seasonal house decor or just houseware items. Suggestion when you come shopping here, if you don't like waiting in long lines, then don't shop on the weekends. The best time to shop is during the week. I usually walk away if I already see a long line when I go inside. I like to take my time to browse for little treasures that I can add to my home. I'll definitely be back to find more gems. read more

Came to shop today I was trying to hunt down HK items. I went to the back to look at the blankets and there was a Caucasian lady blonde hair and I ask her if there were any and she was just plain rude about it. I walk out of the store. Always fun to browse. No surprise that some things aren't in great shape but I enjoy the browsing and finding great things sometimes.

Abysmal during the holidays. The cashier lights are on to make you think the line will move, but there is no one at the registers and the staff obviously take their time to prevent being overwhelmed by the amount of customers. Took an hour and 10 minutes waiting in line. Unacceptable, would have walked out had they not indicated otherwise. read more

I drove 45 minutes to get to this store since it says it's open and usually has the best selection. when I get here there is a mob of people waiting outside because the doors are locked. I sat and waited about 30 minutes and an associate finally comes out and tells everyone they're doing inventory and no one knows what time the store will open. read more

Based on other reviews it seems that returning items here is difficult. I called ahead to ask if I was able to return coffee syrups that did not taste good at all and was told yes and to just bring the receipt. So I took the long drive back to home goods and was told I couldn't return open containers. I explained how I called ahead and was told that I could. I was still denied so I just ended up throwing the two bottles away into the outside trash bins. It was a waste of gas and time. Make sure if you're going to purchase foods or drinks here that you double check everything. The associate was really nice, but it was upsetting how not everyone knew the correct return policy. read more

Do NOT go here!! I came in looking for a chair and found the exact one! Had a tag placed on the seat for $149. Not to mention it was in the clearance section. Amongst everything marked down. So I grab a person and ask if this is the correct price? He says yes that's the tag sitting on it. Then I said I'll take it! He then asks his manager LAURA and she comes over and says sorry this isn't the tag I don't know where this tag came from. I explained to her it was sitting on the chair and she rudely told me "well it wasn't attached so anyone could have put it there." Almost implying I put it there. Love this store because it's a great store. I don't think the mgmt has a grasp on how to train and greet customers on the floor. There are employees who are on the floor stocking. Walked the entire store and not one employee stopped to say hello or ask if there was anything you needed or even have a good day. They only greet you at the registers because that's what they're trained to do. Once in the floor is ever a word spoken. They speak to each other on the floor or in passing.... but not once had I seen the woman working the floor say a single word to each customer she passed by. As I was trying to decide if I was going to buy something, I chose not to after a worker whisked by me in the kitchen section dead smack in front of me as I was looking at something. Not saying excuse me or did I find what I was looking for not a single word. If this is a reflection of mgmt, I will definitely find another store to shop at to purchase what I If I didn't like this store so much I wouldn't come to this location. Employees attitudes really suck here and are not nice to the customers. A glass fell and the employee who called for clean up had a very snotty attitude and didn't even respond to me when I told her she needs to make sure the rest of the pack of glasses are secure so the rest doesn't break. Very disappointed! Bought two cantilever umbrellas from the Redlands Homegoods. One was missing a screw and locking knob, but I managed to fix them. Got them home, purchased separate weights to hold them down and within one month the umbrellas faded in the sun while closed. Now when I open them I get to see faded blue and blue vertical stripes. Can't get much cheaper quality than that. Being a regular purchaser from this store I expected more. Surprised and again disappointed since now I have endure addition cost to replace two umbrellas. So... I basically live here! I love the rare home decor items that I find while shopping here. Im glad that the staff doesn't come up to me every 2 seconds asking if I'm looking for something; it feels like the staff understands I'm not looking for anything in particular I'm just here to get home decor items and hide them in my car from my husband. lol. This store has a huge selection of discounted name brand rugs, art, ceramics, candles, dried foods, Mirrors, pillows, blankets. It has everything you need to make your house a vibe. I love the items at this store but the customer service here is the worst!! I was sitting near the door to try and get some better reception on my phone and an associate tells me I need to get off the sales floor and make my purchase because I had to leave all the while their line was passed the que section. Also as I am walking out the same associate refuses to acknowledge that I am leaving and instead acknowledged the lady behind me and wished her a good evening. I always come to TJ Max and have not experienced anything remotely close to the rudeness I experienced today . Went to the store today. Was going to purchase several Christmas presents. Looked for a cart at both doorways. NONE. I asked clerk if they had any carts. She said "look at the other door". I told her there were none there. She said, " then no, we don't have any". 5 employees standing behind counter talking...I put everything down and walked out. There were several carts out in the parking lot. Didn't feel it was my responsibility to go collect a cart in the parking lot to shop. Sad service these days! read more

This store has become a joke with the new management specially Angela, who claims to be the GM. Zero customer service. I over hear her literally bragging how she mock a customer for showing up to return items without a receipt and after several minutes the customer found it but it was over 90 days past the return policy, with someone in their In store radio. I was shock to see that attitude specially at this store who all had been very helpful prior to this experience. She tried to embarrass me as well for trying to return couple of items that my mom had purchased and lost her receipts. And when I asked for her name to report the incidents (my incident and the one she mock the prior customer) to corporate she gave me more attitude. This was my worst experience yet coming to Homegoods. I went in the family game section for under $30 and bought a monopoly game. It did not have a tag but I kindly told the cashier I received it where the under $30 game night section is. She went to tell her manager to check the price and comes out of no where saying it's $80. I kindly told the lady I got it where it was $30 and I even told her to check the cameras and she gave me the biggest attitude saying no it's $79 and the whole line looked at me and her. She even tried to say that I put the monopoly game there when clearly there was 5 other games like it there. I then kindly said fine and felt the biggest humiliation ever and bought the game. I repeat don't ever come here the managers hate their jobs and give you the biggest attitude possible just to get their sales up. read more

Every time I need to buy a gift I always find it here. I love this store! I recommend shopping there first thing in the morning when they open. It's quiet and you don't have to wait in a long line. Although I have been there at peak hours and the line moves pretty good. Always a good to place to shop any time for just about anything. read more
