I swear this store is my favorite during the holidays. It's always filled with AMAZING goodies. I went in the store today and was obsessed with all the Christmas selections. Had to snag some snowflake marshmallows, strawberry syrup, holiday chocolate boxes, and much more. I usually come here for their sugar free syrups but you can't beat the huge candle selection, the variety of sweet treats and home furniture. This store does know how to catch your attention. Almost everything is marked with an additional .99 cents. Take my money, take all of it. As long as my house looks cute. LOL read more

This place is awesome! It's huge and has such a large selection of items. While I have enough stuff in my own home that I don't need anything else, it was nice to see so many cool, interesting and reasonably priced items for home decor needs. The foodie in me was especially happy to see the large selection of specialty food items. There were so many kinds of snacks, beverages and unique ingredients that you'd find at specialty artisanal stores or high end department stores for pretty reasonable prices. I loved doing some grocery shopping here and trying unique food items. It's a nice place, but the location is in one of the busiest parts of Stockton. read more

Honestly every time I've gone, I've had an absolute wonderful experience with every staff member. They are all so kind and are most definitely in their zone even when people are rude for no reason. I have gone to the store from as soon as they open to mid day and I always feel like they have some amazing stuff out, and so many nice things to select from. The items I've seen are always in wonderful condition and I've never had a problem with anything. I always find something on this store. It may not always have what I went in there for at the time. But I walk out every time with and item or two. Even though shelves are over packed down every aisle, that's what makes it fun to shop here. Scavenger hunt each visit! Your also bound to hear a glass or two shatter down an aisle I wanted to get a Dutch oven BUT didn't want to pay $179 for it at a location as such, when the premium outlets can have it at a more cost effective price. So no luck on that item. This location is a clean store and Our cashier was nice. But can't say that I was asked if I needed any help from the two times that I was standing right next to a store associate, restocking shelves. All in all to complete the shopping adveyhere, you are bound to find something of liking. read more

There's nothing in particular that I expect from this store. My husband and I like to wander around and look at the nifty home things. We come home with some pretty good finds. But as I was perusing in the front at the marked down holiday gift bags, I observed a manager named Stephanie standing by the front entrance talking to someone she might have been familiar with. Around these same moments a woman had politely interrupted her asking her where the dinner plates would be and she broke her casual banter and replied, "Where are the dinner plates? Near the dinnerware." All the woman could reply was, "Okay, thank you." And she walked off. This felt a little unfair in my opinion because my literal brain felt unsatisfied overhearing such an answer. First off, Stephanie, why didn't you take the extra effort and walk her to the plates? Secondly, Stephanie, what if she wasn't familiar with your particular store or location? There's no department labeled "Dinnerware" but there is "Dining". And I know you've been down your aisles in Dining, there are two to three areas of plates. Melamine, Ceramic and that nice Porcelain looking stuff. My managerial and customer service skills were cringing. You should have cut that conversation off and helped her. You're in the business of people. It makes peoples day when you do the extra-ness. Trust me! Then we get to the register and Miss Toya helped us and she was very kind to us. But at one point she walked away and left us hanging and I just didn't hear if she said anything so I asked Manager Stephanie where she had went and in the same non effort, unenthusiastic and a bit passive aggressive way she said, "She left to get you a tag." I'm autistic. I'm monotoned. I understand I could have possibly misinterpreted that but it just didn't feel very neutral. Just saying. Moral of this experience, please Stephanie for the love of God, mask yourself if you have to and give us some positive managerial vibes. Thank you. Shoutout to Toya though! So many cute things and such a big selection! A lot better than Ross, Marshalls or TJ Maxx and much less expensive than Pier One or Cost Plus. So stupid! In stead of just letting people come and go with masks on like almost all other stores right now. They make you wait in the hot sun outside and only let two people in at a time. Wouldn't let us in even though several people came out, made us wait extra long. Then while trying to shop, every so often a lady was going around yelling at people to social distance and only walk one direction down aisles. Which got old really fast. Then yelled at people standing in line to check out for setting their heavy items on the ground and then yelled again that people were standing too close! Absolutely asinine! Made me feel sick to my stomach to be there! Absolutely rude! Will not be back anytime soon! So sad!! read more

I use to come here often. Now it's every few months because the workers and clientele are the worst. Every trip has been the same. The workers stock shelves and make sure you feel like you are in their way. 2 workers today were both on my heels as I was going through the aisles trying to get things stocked on shelves. I had to dash out of the way after 10 steps because I seemed to STILL be in her way. I get it, you have a job to do but can you wait a few seconds or at the very least don't walk on the heels of customers. read more

I know it's hard keeping stores like this tidy, they must have gotten new shipments in because half of the isles were blocked. Most of the time it's a slight maze and I get it, they don't carry multiple of the same item like normal department stores which makes it crazy. But this time isles were completely blocked. They had 1 person at checkout at the time and several people in line waiting for a bit. Then our checker didn't seem so thrilled to be working and didn't greet us like normal checkers do. read more

I love to go to Home Goods when I'm in Stockton. They sell home furnishings, wall décor, home accents, lighting fixtures, bedding, rugs, luggage, and furniture. The prices are very good and reasonable. I've gotten many unique items here and it's not rare for me to get a call from my mom in Stockton telling me she picked up this or that for me. My latest finds this past Saturday where these plaster sculptures. My mom had picked up the hand with the crossed fingers a few months ago and I just picked up the male face kissing the hand and the male torso with the woman's face and hands. I find them unique conversation pieces. The inventory changes a lot and I never know what I will find here. It's a very cool store. read more

This store makes me miss my mom a lot whenever I browse the aisles because she's really into home decor and all that stuff. I've been here a few times to get bath rugs and some basics for my apartment. The store is organized into different sections like dining, kitchen, storage, bath, etc. but that's about as organized as it gets. The shelves are a bit cluttered and it's hard to find what you need sometimes. It's pretty much taking the home section of a Ross or Marshalls and expanding that to an entire store. It always takes forever to check out and pay for stuff :( I think they're a bit understaffed. Prices are pretty cheap compared to other stores like Bed, Bath and Beyond and they have most of the basics and then some. read more

While the cashiers are very nice and following orders from the managers this store is ridiculous. I tried to buy something that had been returned and they wouldn't let me because it had to go in the back for 24 hours. They could have wiped it down. If I go back in 24 hours it will be gone because they put it out in the morning so the group of women that go every morning can buy. They are saving for their friends and not letting others buy. They let older people get hit and pushed by this group and have never kicked them out. They know it's a problem and choose to ignore it. read more

There was a odd place mat by itself. I asked for a price on it. There were other placemats in a different color that came in a set of 8 for $7.99. The manager came back with a price for that one odd mat alone, for $5.00. How does that seem right or justified. So wrong. I complained but she said she had to answer the phone. My first impression- I was captured by the beautiful items the store offers. The store is broken into house sections and the aisles carry sufficient amazing decor and useful products. Unfortunately, there were some things quite noticeable. As we (mom,cousin,self) walked through out the store, it seemed some what unorganized. Things appeared to be out of place or cluttered- not sure if that's the look the store meant to advertise. The prices seemed outrages for some things while nonsense for others. HomeGoods can appear overwhelming so definitely have in mind what you want to buy to go directly to that section of the store and get out! Lol read more

I love this store! It stays clean, a great variety of goods for sale and just fun to look through.

My first time in this store, I swear I had died & gone to heaven. I must have spent at least 2 hours mesmerized by all the "cute" housewares. And did I mention everything is kept clean AND organized by color?! Such an unbelievably simple way to find exactly what you're looking for in the right color. As I'm sure is evident, this store turns me into a living, breathing caricature of a domesticated female who spends entirely too much time trying to become an interior decorator for her abode. But I can't help it when I go here! Everything is just so...pretty! This is definitely the high-maintenace sister out of the trio of stores (the other two being TJ Maxx & Marshalls), so if you find something you like here, you might be able to find it for a better price at the other two. That's the price you'll pay (literally) for shopping at the prettiest of the three. read more

Some of it is a little strange (could there be more chickens??) but there are a lot of nice things too. It's like Ross or Marshall's without clothes and shoes and stuff. I was spazzing when I found a juliene peeler/slicer. Whenever i'm looking for new cooking tools for a few recipes, this place is my go to. Because it's high quality kitchen gadgets at a reduced price(duh). There's also a decent selection of dishes, and some harder to find health foods that raw vegan/vegan/vegetarian chefs like to use. This includes: raw cacao nibs, quinoa products, and other unusual(but neat) stuff. I like to get lost in this store whenever I'm in need of inspiration or in need of a particular item for my home. If you're in want of something functional but fashionable at a lowered price, this place is worth trying before the high end department stores that like sell for top dollar. read more

Love this store. So many gorgeous pieces to choose from and they carry quite an eclectic taste of..just stuff. Sometimes I just browse inside, not looking for anything and come out with a cart full of goodies. Now that I have a little one, their kid section is to die for. So many cute items. One thing I would say is instead of selling broken items at a discounted price, just throw the pieces away. I can see knicked furniture because something could be painted but if it's a piece of glass or something you can get hurt from, dispose of it properly. read more

Finally, the main work on my master bed/bath has been completed. There are still a few things that need tweaking but, I felt the hard work had warranted some accessories.....besides, I saw Color Splash yesterday and David Bromstad got me all excited about seeing what the inventory at my local Home Goods could do to bring my remodel up to the next level. I'm cheap, I'll admit and I hate returning things so, I take my time making my selections. Sometimes I even clear a shelf to stage my purchase and see what it will look like when I get home. I especially love that the merchandisers are at work from the time the store opens to it's closing. You'll not find a heap of unlike items sitting on a shelf in random order. They group things according to color and style so, it's easy to imagine what it will look like when you get it home in your space.
