I love coming and browsing this store. Sometimes it's a total miss but sometimes you find the coolest most random things. I particularly enjoyed finding this random gold painted iguana decor item amid the Easter decorations! Amazing amazing HomeGoods! The square footage at this location is gigantic and much larger and roomier than most HomeGoods that I've been to in Massachusetts and SW Florida. The offerings for the different sections are robust and quickly restocked. I took the time to hunt down each and every section: bedding, bath, window treatments, storage, dining, glass & crystal, kitchen essentials, gourmet cookware, toss pillows, mirrors, wall decor, furniture, rugs, lighting, "Kid Town", "The Pet Shop", "The Daily Gourmet", and of course the Clearance Section! Added plus that TJ Maxx is connected to same building space. Off Saks, Nordstrom Rack, Target, Wegman's, and Home Sense are all located in the same complex. I'm a big fan of planter pots, affordable artwork, and Buddha heads and I always have good luck at this HomeGoods! read more

Brand new HomeGoods / Marshalls in University Station, on University Avenue in Westwood. Since this review is for HomeGoods, minus 1 star. This location is not nearly as superior as the HomeGoods / TJ Maxx combination at Quarry Sq in Milford, or the Newton HomeGoods. The store is somewhat congested (and for being brand new, I'm sure they could have requested a larger space?) for the tons of merchandise it holds (it seems there is stuff EVERYWHERE!). Not enough space to move around and not as much inventory as other stores. The other HomeGoods in Milford is more than twice this size. Staff are friendly and seem to keep goop upkeep with the already empty shelves (business is booming!), as well as keeping the seasonal stuff up to date (already summer stuff out!) Otherwise this location is clean, well organized, and has the basics for home stuff. Definitely a "go to" place to at least check out at new University Station, plus you can hit up Marshalls as well without having to go into another store! 4 stars. read more

I go to this HomeGoods alll the time, almost every weekend and they have really cute stuff at reasonable prices. You will find everything you're looking for and more! I don't think I've encounter a mess here before, I wouldn't say it's spotless but it's also not bad. I never write reviews for chain stores because you will have different selection of items and experiences. But I decided to write this one because I had an unpleasant experience a few weeks ago. I bought a piece of furniture and set up a pick up for a few days later. I show up and they're taking forever to find someone to move the piece outside of the store because I guess it's policy for them to not allow customers to touch the dolly or furniture in the store. So that was fine, but then they finally got a group of women to help and one of them was Becky, whom I assume was the manager. She was extremely rude and had a horrible attitude from the beginning. She was giving everyone attitude and making horrible faces to everyone she was interacting with. That was an awful experience for me, not only because she's the manager and should know how to be behave but also because I love this store and she ruined the experience for me. read more

I was in the Westwood store on 10/30/2017. The store was an absolute mess. Everything was on the floor. I saw at least 5 employees goofing off in the "pet" section. Fumbling with toys. The rug section is a disgrace. You could not walk thru to see rugs and when you did all rugs were not hug up correctly. There were no rugs to be bought never mind seen. Why have a rug section at all? I had to pick up pillows off the ground to push my cart thru the store. To top it all off young children were running thru the store and they broke numerous items. Glass was crashing every 10 minutes. Nobody did anything. I just had to leave. Westwood you should be ashamed to have people on staff displaying clear incompetence. DO YOUR JOB! read more

Didn't have enough time to shop considering it said 10 o'clock close time on yelp but was closing at 9:30 so my shopping time was cut short but in the short time I was there I did notice that there was a lot of item availability and a lot of clearance which I love read more

The store itself is amazing! You can pretty much find anything in there, HOWEVER, the customer service is degrading.... TWICE have I experienced the most humiliating service. The first time, I let it go figuring maybe the cashier was having a bad day. She spoke to my mother in the most condescending manner. I let it go.... BUT LAST NIGHT, was absolutely humiliating and offensive. I was in there w my brother and sister and we had a question abt a price on 2 of the same items, priced differently. The cashier who was extremely nice and helpful called over her manager, Donna. Donna was the most unprofessional, rudest, ignorant manager I'd ever come across. Donna went off about how we could have changed the prices on the item, mind you, we actually were trying to purchase the higher priced item which was $29.99, a $10 difference, and we already were spending $400 worth. She made a scene that caused other customers to stare into our direction. I've never been so embarrassed!!!! And being a minority, that kind of attention made it even more embarrassing. She then walked off as we were trying to explain to her, it wasn't a big deal, we just wanted to know what the correct price was and could the lowered price be honored. She then whips around to say "No it will not be honored" and that's fine but storming away and talking loudly and rudely about customers was absolutely unnecessary. We are all professional adults and paying customers!!! The scene Donna caused was so embarrassing that even other employees apologized to us for her behavior. I really don't us returning back to that location any time soon. I will be reaching out to Corporate as well. Donna could most certainly use a class in people skills and customer service. read more

the Manager who is from India is so rude same as her employees,I just got something last week but i didn't have receipt,was a buddha decoration ,she said and her followers employee repeat after her saying don't have that for months,I just got last eeek from there,one of the women's work there but doesn't have to do anything with that dot said she saw me buying the statue last week but didn't care, she said not ,she and her employee were so loud be so rude ,I never was treated that week and were lying saying didn't have for long time read more

Took a ride over to the area as we heard a lot of new places were opening in this new business development area. Stopped in Home Goods, never been and I was pleasantly surprised at the inventory and assortment that was available. Bought two garden statues and a comforter. The checkout line was long but moved quickly as the automated screen announcing cashiers open was effective. Cashier was polite and helpful. ( a rarity these days) . I will go back and do more business there definitely. This is the way a retail operation should run. read more

My favorite HomeGoods by far. It's well stocked, orderly and have really great staff. I love the Westwood shopping plaza it's anchored in and this HomeGoods is the icing on the cake. I have needed help on a few occasions and the staff was more than helpful. While the lines on the weekends can be long, if you go early or during the week, they are much shorter. Overall, you just can't go wrong with this store. read more
