This is not the first time Bob said he would do something and never showed or called. We contacted Doors Mechanics and they came out, it was the travel module that needed to be replaced, adjusted the tension to balance the door, this was never done correctly by B&B Overhead door because B&B never balanced nor adjusted the tension bars it warped the chain drive, and we had to replace the cables due to the door not balanced caused the cables to fray and they would not wind right. Our Door never sounded or worked properly as it should had, for over 4 years it would stop and start, made alot of noise. Door Mechanics is who you want to call to fix our garage door, they did a wonderful job and we didn't have to replace the garage door or opener as B&B told us we needed to do. After he began the installation, Matt notified me that one of my garage door springs was broken and that it had to be replaced before he could complete the installation of the new garage door opener. He recommended using a modern spring system that is commonly used rather than the obsolete Wayne Dalton ones that I had. The price for that repair was $530. Since I have a home warranty that would pay for most of that, I agreed to have Matt install the new spring system. Matt obtained the parts and installed the new spring system the same day. Total price was $805 for new door opener install, setup, and new spring system. I am very happy with the service, especially since I will receive a reimbursement check from the home warranty company. Now my new garage door opener works quietly and I can use the remotes once again. My kids can also get in now, something they couldn't do before. The Wi-Fi feature and app that came with my new door opener is the bomb - it tells me if the door is open or closed, who opened it and when, and I can control it from anywhere in the world, including my bed when I don't feel like getting up to close the door. I also scheduled it to automatically close the door if I leave it open at night. Matt was friendly, he worked quickly and efficiently, and he is an expert in his field.
