Noticed a few with damage from strapping. Once I opened the load, 10 of 38 boards had serious scratches, some had imbedded rocks, 3 of 4 fascia not usable..at $100 plus each, handling in the supply chain and shipping leaves a lot to be desired. Sales guy got Timbertech to cover and replace. After nearing completion, needed 4 more boards to finish, specifically asked for new product. 3 of 4 came scratched...again, also realized I had been sold a supersize box of hidden fasteners for 500 sq ft...my deck is 250....so half left. $480 a box..vs. $299 for 1/2 box....so out another $180...yeah, sorry about that man....not going to talk about the inconsistencies in color, thickness, quality of the framing wood.... People seem friendly enough, just not quite customer centric.

It was communicated to us that the work would take place from 10/31-11/2 (roughly 3 days). The job wrapped up yesterday and in total it only took them one full day and 3/4 of another. We received our invoice this morning which literally just had a one-sentence description of the work followed by the remaining balance. I appreciated their promptness in getting us an email and requested that we see an itemized breakdown of how our $8k+ job was delineated. All I was looking for was to see how much of the $8K+ was going to labor and how much was going to materials. After three different exchanges, they are still refusing to give any information. Our house was flooded last year and over the course of 8 months repairing our home, we have worked with numerous companies. EVERY company we have worked with has at minimum given us a breakdown of labor and material costs. I'm frustrated because I genuinely believe the cost for our project was estimated significantly higher than the actual cost and Foundation Restoration is unwilling to specify their labor/material costs so they can hide behind a "lump sum" estimate. For these reasons, I would NOT recommend Foundation Restoration.

The owner made several promises to fix the unfinished bits, while stating that it wasn't going to be possible to properly do so, but never did come back and complete the work. Three and a half years later, I'm having flooring done in another part of the house, and the flooring guy was quite easily able to address the issues with the carpet and floor installation that Fairhaven left unfinished. Yes, I had to hire someone else to finish the job. My mistake for paying before the job was 100% complete.

The initial bid was to remove the carpet and refinish the original wood floors while also installing new wood floors in the remaining living areas. Once they started the work, though, we found that the original floors had issues and there were several necessary support beams missing, all while I was coordinating a move from Seattle and trying to be out of storage and into the house by the end of May. Mike and his team bent over backwards to accommodate me - they fit me in around other jobs, worked on weekends, helped find someone to fix the beams on very short notice and met the original schedule - all at an affordable price. They were professional, did an excellent job of communicating where we were in the process and the floors are beautiful.

Morris managed to manage the ever changing restrictions, and also rolled with the punches when our flooring came up and revealed a pretty wonky surface underneath. They levelled the floor like pros - it's amazing the amount of work they did! Could not be happier. We couldn't even be there, as we live in Canada, and the border was closed, preventing us from getting to our Cabin at Mt. Baker, they did the whole thing remote, sending us photos. He Just Blew Me Off For Five Months…read more I am a single woman looking to get my bathroom and bedroom remodeled. I called Dreamaker in early January wanting to set up an appointment to come out and give me an estimate. A man named Ron Faber called back and came to my house to evaluate the job then sent me an estimate on January 18th and I decided to hire this company to do the work. He said he would call next week but never did. When I emailed him on Feb 8th to see why there was a delay, he said one of his carpenters was out and apologized. He asked to come by and re-measure on February 12th which I agreed to then he made an appointment for me to come into the office and make decisions about what I wanted for hardware and cupboards and countertops on February 19th at 10:00 in the morning. When I got to the office, he was not there but I made the decisions with one of the women who work in the office anyway. On March 7th he emailed me that there was a fiberglass shortage and my remodel would be delayed until June. I thought that was weird but agreed to wait. On April 24th, I emailed him because I was trying to figure out my schedule for the coming months and he told me that actually, they would tentatively be able to start May 21st and he would call me next week. Next week came and went with no call and the week of May 21st came and went with no remodel. I emailed him on May 30 to tell him that I don't want to do business with him and his company because he is not a man of his word and I was obviously not a valued customer. I don't recommend Dreamaker for doing a remodel. Ron Faber just blew me off and I was stupid to waste five month of my life waiting for a company that obviously didn't value my business.
