Morris managed to manage the ever changing restrictions, and also rolled with the punches when our flooring came up and revealed a pretty wonky surface underneath. They levelled the floor like pros - it's amazing the amount of work they did! Could not be happier. We couldn't even be there, as we live in Canada, and the border was closed, preventing us from getting to our Cabin at Mt. Baker, they did the whole thing remote, sending us photos. I know for a fact that the carpet was clean and didn't have any pet stains, because I purchased carpet cleaner specifically for deep pet stains and had gone over the entire carpet twice, and had even checked the carpet with a UV light, not one pet stain. But, according to great floors, (the property management had used this particular company to do an inspection after I had moved out) there were a lot of pet stains and almost $1,000 was deducted from my deposit to replace the carpet. I truly believe in karma, because great floors lied!! Absolutely no way that there were ANY pet stains in the carpet at my previous apartment!! I exclaimed when the light would shine threw the window you can see where the floor was lifting. He wanted me to install blinds on the window. Very poor customer service. When I asked Glen whybhe was so much cheaper than the competition he explained that it was because he did not have a large overhead to worry about. What actually happened was he installed a cheap Chinese knock off instead of the quality floor I wanted. Not very honest. He has recently slightly changed the name of his business while keeping all the equipment and contact numbers the same. One should wander why a person would do this. Please do your homework before using this company.

Yikes - how do you fix that without either replacing all the carpeting or else replacing it in one room and risk never having a good match with the rest of the carpeting? Fortunately, Pablo was very responsive to my call, extremely pleasant, and professional. Using a remnant I had saved from the carpet installed 20 years ago, he made an almost imperceptible patch - the only reason you can see the patch if you studiously look for it is because of the difference in color and wear between the old carpet and the remnant, otherwise if would be absolutely seamless! Nobody besides me would ever notice it. I am so pleased at the huge expense I saved by not having to replace the entire carpeted downstairs area! Thank you, Pablo! He quoted me in advance of his visit a minimum of $500, and the final amount with tax was $640 because it required a special technique in joinery of the seams. He was here for 90 minutes, but he also drove 100 miles round trip to get here, so I feel it was reasonable especially when considering the cost of getting new carpet!

My experience was: Showroom has an impressive amount of product, and much of it has the price displayed. However, it turns out that a good deal of what is on display is old stock that isn't available. We cycled through several rounds of bids, one was incomplete (no materials), another had vastly overpriced labor, finally got a bid that we all agreed on. Then when the job was done and it was time to pay, the agreed upon bid disappeared and we were sent the vastly overpriced labor bid as an invoice. Quite a bit of back and forth settled when I sent their bid to them, as they denied that the bid we had agreed to existed. Generously, their estimating process and record keeping needs a lot of improvement. Most of the work done was good, generally very good. Some of the detail work was not good. I had already paid my invoice when I contacted Ralph's about the issues. No response to texts, emails, voicemails. Finally got ahold of my rep, she led with "well, they all do that", which pretty much set the tone of the conversation. Needless to say, no, they never followed up with me after promising to do so, and at this point I'll just hire someone else to complete the job. Check cashed=customer no longer exists. Summary: mostly good result, but there's got to be better options in the area.
