This burger joint is a neat little place. It is part of a small chain of restaurants.. This is the only restaurant in the chain that does not have a dining area mainly due to it being in an old Rally's resturant. They only offer walk-up or drive through service and they have a a couple of picnic tables with pop-up shelters over them if you want to avoid eating in your vehicle and eat there. You will find some outdoor furniture in the front of the store that you could probably also eat at, but there is no table there to sit your food though. They serve salads, chicken , fish, hotdogs, and of course burgers. They have an exotic line up of burgers to choose from. The woman working the window was very friendly and helpful. I ordered Mama T's Favorite Burger Combo with a side of fries. I also go some of their strawberry deep fried donuts to top off my meal. This is not fast food. It took about 15 minutes for me to get my meal after I had placed my order. The burger was pretty good. It was unique, flavorful and very tasty. The fries were decent to average. As for the fried donuts, I got 5 donut holes with strawbeery syrup sprinkled on it. It was not what I was expecting, but it was ok. I would probably skip those next time. All in all, I had a decent meal that I enjoyed. I would definitely eat here again. read more

We tried it not long after it opened on south Keystone Avenue, because we wanted to try "Louisville's Best Burger" Why not? Let me tell you why. The burger was basically tasteless...no seasoning. The fries tasted exactly like they looked and smelled...horrible! We should have been more attentive. They are NEVER busy, like almost every other restaurant is, especially right after their grand opening. If that's the best you have, Louisville, you can have it back! The food was greasy and the fries was old soggy and greasy. 2 combos for $27 was not worth it. the ruben burger was so over cooked it was almost chewy. my wife's was the same way. So we tried Home Run Burgers and Fries last night and I have to say, it was a total strikeout. Don't waste your money. The burger was very very thin, the bun was super dry and crunchy, and the fries tasted like they had been sitting around forever. Soggy and no salt/flavor and the cups of them were half full. Chicken tenders were horribly overcooked and hard to eat. Chili cheese fries not good either. Like they were covered in Velveeta and Van Camps canned chili. From my take, they are trying to compete with Five Guys, both in their selection of food and their price point. Just wasted 40 min and $30 on what had potential to be a good burger. What was supposed to be fast food with cook to order burgers turned out to be slower than a sit down and cold, smaller than advertised burgers. I ordered the Bases Loaded burger, which was supposed to be a 1/4 burger, with sautéed onions, fried egg, bacon and homerun sauce. All supposed to be hot ingredients, except the sauce. NOTHING was even warm. In my combo I chose to up to the fresh cut fries with chili -cheese. The fries were ice cold, and poorly cooked. Thankfully the canned cheese and canned chili was warm enough to drown out the fries. I washed it down with a "regular" size pop, which equates to a 12oz can if you're lucky. This all for $17! My husband got the all American and fresh cut fries.. his burger again supposed to be a 1/4 lb, looked to be about the size of a McDonald's single.. and again freezing. He said it was the worst fresh cut fries he has ever had. The place just opened, but their issues are bigger than opening day jitters.. I don't expect they will succeed when so many more successful options are available. We won't be back. read more

Spent $30 for 2 # 2's. Asked for pepper jack cheese, got american. Asked for no onions, got onions. Fries looked/tasted like they were left out for an hour and then refried to be "fresh". 2/10 wouldn't recommend. Your way better off going to Steak n Shake for a third of the price. read more

First time going here. Got 2 regular fries and 2 single burgers with everything, one with cheese. No drinks. Cost $19. The fries were probably good 2 hours ago, but they're inedible now. The burgers have entirely too much mustard and mayo on them. No napkins in the sack, either. Burgers were okay, but not great. Nothing was hot, all lukewarm and it took forever to get after ordering.
