I called the managers line several times and no answer so I left a message on the manager line leaving a nice message explaining how my burger came and asking nicely if there was a way to get my money back for only the burger and still no response back. 52 years of ordering from McDonald's and never had a problem until this store. If I could give zero stars, I would. This McDonald's location continues to outdo itself in setting the bar lower than ever before. After sitting at the speaker box for over a full minute with no acknowledgment, a car pulled up to the second lane and surprise -they were helped immediately while I continued waiting. When my order was finally taken, I was informed at the first window that the item I ordered was no longer available. Fine - I accepted a replacement, which the employee called up to the front while I moved ahead. At the second window, the manager (who looked visibly dazed and unbothered by basic human interaction) told me it'd be a 13-minute wait. Not a problem - I understand things take time. But thirty-five minutes later, I had to park and walk inside just to get someone to acknowledge that I still existed. The same manager was walking out with nine of the item I had ordered. When I asked to speak with whoever was in charge, I was met with a half-hearted "sorry about the wait" and a quick attempt to walk off. When I pushed further, he asked if I wanted a refund. I said yes. He took the food back. And walked away. No receipt. No resolution. No care. Just a slow, painful descent into absurdity. I asked for a phone number to elevate the issue, and unsurprisingly, that was dismissed too. This location has a consistent problem with service, communication, and basic order accuracy - but today showed just how broken the procedural flow really is. Food is almost never fresh. I drove through the drive through. They forgot both of my fries and didn't put any ice in my drink. My mom walked inside to get our fries and she waited a good 10 minutes and didn't even end up getting the fries. The workers were just standing around and staring at my mom the whole time. She walked up to the front to try to ask someone but they all immediately walked away. The service and cleanliness of the place is horrible. I went to McDonald's on Morton St in Franklin Indiana , pulled to the outer speaker of the drive thru there was one other person at the inside drive thru speaker ordering when they got done the person taking orders should have switched to my speaker and taken my order instead another person pulled up to the inside speaker and she proceeded to take their order so I have say here for 2 people to order and still no one has taken my order so I decided to pull up to the window to place my order and the person working the window toy surprise was a manager and she told me I had to drive all the way back around to place my order at the speaker even though I already sat at the speaker for 2 other people behind me to take there orders. So yes of course I got upset but pulled around even though it was absolute POOR customer service I did it then after placing order I pulled to the window to pay and that same manager tells me I'm not aloud back at this location. I travel a lot for my job and I eat at various McDonald's too often. Let me just say that this one really sucks. My wife just stopped there to get me something to eat on her way home. She ordered a Quarter Pounder with no cheese and fries for me. We live 5 minutes from the restaurant. She got home & I immediately noted the order of fries was unusually small & cold. The burger was in a box that has a white tag that says "NO Amrcn Cheese" in big letters and.... you guessed it... there was cheese (2 slices) on it. I hate cheese! I proceeded to get a butter knife & scraped off the cheese as best I could then started eating it. The meat didn't taste right & had wrong consistency so I looked at it. It was very pink & raw in the middle. I tried to call the restaurant to complain but they wouldn't answer their phone. I've been to this Mcdonald's a few times since living in Franklin and it seems to get worse everytime. The kids seem really young and they don't smile, they rush you and they don't know good customer service. The fries are not being cooked long enough. They come out soggy, wet and salty. The sweet tea has WAY too much sugar added. Today we were asked to pull up and after 10 minutes waiting for our food nothing seemed fresh so I'm not sure why we were waiting. Junk. Where to begin... 1. Teenage girl with McDonalds shirt was moping around, pretending to clean things. When I asked her what time they change to the lunch menu, she put her head down further and apparently didn't speak English. True story. 2. When looking at the $1 me u, I asked the 15 year old kid and lady working the front what an item was. It was titled, "Any size southern style". No context about what it was. Took 2 minutes for them to even see what I was pointing at on the menu. It was embarrassing. Then neither of them knew what it was. 3. Neither employee understood sizes for drinks. 4. Lady rang me up incorrectly 2 times. 5. Drinks weren't put on my tray, so I asked for the cups. Took another 2-3 minutes to help them understand that we ordered medium orange juices, and were trying to get medium cups. I can't explain how awkward and embarrassing the conversation was, as it felt like they had no clue what orange juices were. 6. Lady ended with an attitude, "well if you would have told me the SIZE, I would have gotten it...". . Spoiler: it was the lady who TOOK my order.... 7. I went to McDonald's today (21 May 2020, approx. 1300hrs); to my dismay - I was totally disappointed and disgusted to say the least due to what I saw with the employees behind the counter. None of the employees wore protective masks and more than half of the staff, both servers and cooks, wore no gloves - AND - there were at least 15 crowded workers behind the counter; that was more than enough for me to just turn around and leave the establishment.
