Safe Kids Cobb County - Car seat install instructions

It was easy to set an appointment by going to the website and entering your contact information. As a first time parent I was expecting that we would be going up here and they would check the car seat and we would be out the garage. Instead we received phenomenal service from Diana, who clearly loves informing parents and ensuring they're setup for success. Diana demonstrated how to place the baby accurately in the car seat, adjust the straps, tighten the base, safe sleep, how to travel with car seat, and so much more. It was not overwhelming I believe every parent that has a child from car seat to booster seat, should come here!

I called multiple fire stations and was eventually was routed to Safe Kids of Cobb County. I made an online appointment thru their website via Booksy which was convenient but booked out by about 1.5 weeks. You'll get a reminder email and SMS the day before. Soon to be parents, stop by this location and get your car seat checked. It was 100% worth the time and effort. Diana showed me how to install the base, use the carrier, and how to safely secure the car seat. She is a wealth of information and helpful guide. I feel so much more confident and at ease knowing that baby will be secure and safe on the way home from the hospital. Plan to spend about an hour on site. Eat something before you go, bring some water, and ask lots of questions. There is a legal requirement regarding proper use of car seats and important manufacturing info you need to know about that I wasn't aware of. It's in the safety manual but for new parents, there's already a lot going on so consider prioritizing before baby's arrival.

Just a few months ago I reached out to MM because I was at the end of my patience with the puppy I was given April 2026. He was unruly, aggressive and biting people. With me he was great but I couldn't trust him outside or with others. He would have fits and start barking trying to bite people, other dogs and even children. Today after the classes at Mostly Mutts with Christina and Gabe he is a different dog. He's not perfect but he is much improved. He's manageable. He no longer barks uncontrollably or lunges at other dogs, children and people. I highly recommend Mostly Mutts they are wonderful. They have taught me how to handle my dog and give him what he needs to be a good pet. Thank you Mostly Mutts you get 5 stars from me.

They then proceeded to ban me for no reason from the shelter all together....ever. The worst experience I have ever had. I have raised and trained dogs my whole life. Most have lived far beyond their life expectancy. These people banned me from the shelter all together for no reason. All after the visit and me having picked out a dog. For no reason given. Do not go there. They continue to show your chosen dog to others. They are rude and set me up for a fall. They continued to demean me personally.

Took him into another local vet last week who basically wanted us to go see oncologist after they did a needle biopsy and it was inconclusive. Let me say the value of the labs was significantly cheaper and the appointments were not too far out. Was able to come in for the service we needed for a fraction of the cost. Everyone was super friendly; and took amazing care of our sweet boy. His labs came out great,

After the exam, I was told straight up that my dog didn't need dental cleaning, so I could not book the service. I decided to purchase heartworm preventatives using their online pharmacy, but after EIGHT attempts in a month to get the medication, the order was rejected EVERY SINGLE TIME by their veterinarian. Each time the reason was that there was a prescription on file already so they could not approve an order request, but there WAS no prescription on file to begin with. All I can assume is that Pawproject wants my dog to get heartworm infection and die. I hate Pawproject and will report them to the Georgia Board of Veterinary Medicine. Don't go there.
