Well, maybe if you had to pay out of pocket for your doctor and prescriptions, tried to call, email, and text multiple times, and never got a response, you would be upset too. She also said she had drafted a response but "didn't want to send it late at night" so she didn't send it, or waited to send it? Further, she wouldn't listen to me to let her know what steps I had already taken to solve the problem, so she started to do everything I had already done and tell me the basic info I didn't need. It's funny because I am now on the phone with Health Sherpa and Georgia Access, and they are incredibly polite and understanding and are having no problem discussing the situation with me. I am honestly shocked at the lack of compassion and care from this company. Find a different agent, or handle it yourself. I am sick and now without insurance. I had an issue with them when trying to enroll also, where it took weeks to even get a response. Even Nadine to owner never bothered to respond back to me about my insurance being canceled.

This is my first time with Tristen but I have used Chem Dry for years and they have always done a great job. My carpet lasts longer by using Chem Dry. I originally reached out to Citrus Fresh Carpet Cleaning to clean my sectional sofa. The technician came by, inspected my couch and told me he could not perform the work because it is a cotton blend material and water would ruin the fabric. He recommended I reach out to ChemDry. I reached out to ChemDry, explaining my experience with Citrus Fresh and verified that they have the tools to clean this type of material with no water and I was informed by the Office Manager, Solybeth, that they could. The technician arrived early and was very friendly. I explained to him why the other company wouldn't attempt our couch and he assured me it would be fine, but we might not get the stains out. I told him that was fine as long as his methods don't ruin my couch. I left him to his business and when he was done, he said it would look a lot better when it's dry. It's been a couple of weeks and my couch cushions are ruined. He used water which he should not have used. The original stains are hardly visible, but the cushion color completely changed from cream to black/green. I have included photos. The small cushions dried to normal color and you can see the large cushions did not. I will say, someone from Chem-Dry tried to call me once after I emailed them. I returned the call, but did not receive any calls back. As I mentioned to them in my email, I'm not sharing this information looking for a refund. The damage is done and the $200 is nothing compared to the cost of replacing my couch. I simply want to share with them so they can learn from it and share with others who may be looking for upholstery services so they can make their own conclusions.

This is my second year volunteering for Everybody Wins, and I know it won't be my last. I…read moreparticipate in their "Power Lunch" program, which pairs students who are at-risk for academic failure with volunteers from businesses and organizations to read together one-on-on each week during the school year. This is the perfect regular volunteer program for me, because one of the schools they operate this program out of (Cook Elementary) is just a mile from my office in downtown Atlanta. You read to your student during their lunch, so even though it's during the work day, I can easily make it there and back during my own one hour lunch break. Even better, if you can't make a weekly 30 minute commitment, you can rotate with another coworker, who can also cover for you if something comes up and you can't make your commitment. I have found the relationship with both of the mentees I've had to be very rewarding, and Everybody Wins runs a very good program that provides great support to the volunteers. I highly encourage you to check their website to see if they run a Power Lunch program near your workplace.

Not only does the woman on the phone seem annoyed with your call, but she's also the manager and always acts as if it's not her decision to take items or not. I guess I'm not too disappointed because the antique furniture I wanted to donate FOR FREE, I ended up selling for a pretty penny. However, I do wish that they were more transparent with their donation pick up/delivery service. After several back-and-forth emails and phone calls, I was told the reason my items were rejected is that they "didn't have room," which I believe was a lie - but that's neither here nor there.
