The loan officer and processing agents at PLB Lending know their stuff, and they excel at timely closings. My beau completed the purchase of his house in just under 30 days back in 2009 using their services, so there was no question in my mind we would rely on them again for the second round residential upgrade. Talk about money well spent. Linda Sinacola, my agent, understood the pressures and time crunch we were under -- as well as the sellers' needs too, since they already closed on a property. Everyone was ready to go. So began the whirlwind. On your mark, get set, go really meant no dawdling on their part or mine. Linda came all the way to downtown Detroit for me to sign forms, rather than requiring me to drive up to my realtor's office in Madison Heights or as far as Washington. She answered my first time buyers' newbie questions with grace and aplomb, informing me of changes, fine details, and what all those forms in the thick battery I faced actually meant. The candor made me feel like less of a number, and more like an adult making a wise investment decision. She passed the ball to Amy, her processor, singlehandedly one of the most tenacious and friendly women I've met in Detroit. She laid out what she needed in clear terms, kept up a regular stream of emails and phone calls whenever updates happened or she required something else. Some may find this style not to their liking, but with such a short closing window being our goal, I appreciated how much she reached out. I think we made a pretty awesome team as we compiled this document, that evidence, and that copy over there. No, buying a home isn't easy but PLB made the process much faster and smoother than I could imagine. At every step of the way, they were willing to explain and guide me towards what they needed. I consider their fees money very well spent in getting me settled in time to nest over the summer. It's one last headache on my mind at a time when extra stress is unwelcome, and the sunny attitudes and all around friendly professionalism are a much needed breath of fresh air in this industry.
