I also needed some carpentry work done, and I was fortunate because they employ their own carpenters. After the in-person consultation, the office staff provided me with a detailed and inclusive estimate which was very fair. The carpenters, Frank and Brian, arrived on the stated date and performed their part of the assignment quickly and flawlessly. Two weeks later, the painters, Andrew and Jose, arrived as stated n the contract. I can't say enough about the perfectionism of this duo. I had many cabinets and moldings requiring fine, detailed work. I've had a tremendous amount of work done in my home in the past, but their work was unparalleled. I was impressed with Andrew's building of an enclosed plastic room within my house to sand and spray the cabinets. There was never any dust or mess at the end of the day. It was honestly amazing. My cabinets are silky and look brand new. I pretty much knew what colors I wanted to use, but "Two Brothers" provides a color specialist who did make a house call. She gave me some good ideas, and if you don't know what colors to choose, she'd be great for someone who was undecided. Andrew and Jose completed my entire kitchen and back entry quickly and to perfection. Not only were they superb as painters, they were polite, unobtrusive and easy to work with. The lead painter had 6 yrs, and the guys working with him didn't speak English and were very inexperienced. Besides the estimator, communication was lacking, never did what they said, when and blamed it on the weather. They tried to upsell everywhere. My home is stained and after power washing they said I needed to prime the entire house for an additional 1600). A door frame needed to be repaired an I pointed out a bunch of cedar shakes I wanted replaced. The door doesn't close properly because the job was done poorly and in addition to not replacing a bunch of shingles that should have been replaced, they cut them out around the old shingles, not slid under another 1200. There are drips everywhere, including on trim, on a roof above my door and on my deck, so sloppy. I love the color but I am not impressed by much on this job. They were a contractor not Elco, I could have hired someone with less overhead and saved money, but I wanted experience. I am so disappointed this review is 3 months late. I paid quite a bit, we shall see how long it lasts. We have always painted ourselves but the house is too tall. I would never use Elco again. The owner called me after I called him saying after all the issues did you not want to hear what I thought. The foreman was a joke, never met him even though he was supposed to be onsite until I told the estimator I had never spoken to him. I wish I never sent the final payment but I really just wanted them gone! They were here over a month because they hardly put a full day. I thought my feelings would have subsided but every day that I see 3 broken deck lights, a snapped solar light wire and 3 broken vinyl sleeve covers on the portico, I realize I should have withheld payment. Listen to your gut on this one, if only the estimator calls you back dump them!

When we were selling a house and needed the garage ceiling to be replaced due its not complying with code, he was there in a second (we had a settlement coming up, and were not aware of the ceiling issue until the last minute). He brought an assistant to speed up the job, and worked all through the weekend, although we did not ask him to. He did this of his own accord, so that the job could be finished by Tuesday, the day we went to settlement on the house. The job was actually completed on Sunday. He is not the least expensive guy in RI, (nor is he the most) but you get what you pay for, and Rick does really superb work. We have used him again and again, and will continue to do so.

My friend had to repaint the walls and pay someone to redo the ceiling. And, if that wasn't enough, her crew broke a mirror when it wasn't hung properly by the guys when they finished painting. It took months for her to get her money back on that. It was a huge runaround, with lots of delays by Patti. I absolutely would not recommend Patti's Painting.

Kyle kept in constant contact leading up to the date we scheduled. On the morning of our service, Kyle showed up promptly and worked diligently to complete his task. He was neat, pleasant, professional and expert. After day 1, Kyle has finished the first coat on all of the areas needed. The following week, he returned to complete his work.
