Two main reasons for this: 1) transparency and trust, and 2) a differentiator in the market. We have taken immaculate care of our home and were happy to have a third party inspector say so. Additionally, we knew we would be listing during a busy spring with lots of inventory, so having the inspection report in hand when we went live was a huge differentiator. Chris was amazing through this whole process. Super communicative, punctual, and professional. Chris and I are both veterans, so I trust his integrity and attention to detail on how he approaches his work. He arrived right on time, explained his process with a quick walkthrough of the home, left him to do his thing. The inspection took a few hours and when he was complete, he walked us through the highlights of his work. The majority of our home had no issues. He found a few things that he noted in his report and we discussed those in detail. It's critical to understand that inspectors review homes based on International Residential Code (IRC) and not local building code. Some things that are "deficiencies" in IRC may be allowed by local building code. He was super thorough and walked us through his findings and the impact it could have for occupants. His report was very comprehensive and supported by measurements, pictures, and recommendations. Overall, very satisfied with the process and report. I would trust Trailblazer Home Inspections with any future home inspection needs and am so glad we did it prior to listing our home. We came under contract to sell our home 4 days after listing and I'm convinced that having our inspection upfront played heavily in the buyer's decision!

Now onto the the actual work. I contacted them months ago for some estimates and Jim/Virgil was great to work with. He came out as requested and gave fair estimates for both drywall work, replacement stairs, and ceiling work. He even came out a second time to give an estimate for some replacement siding. The drywall crew consisted of two guys who spent a few days working on a small section in the basement, they made sure to make things look their best and did a decent job cleaning up each night. They were polite and always listening to my feedback. 5 stars there. The siding guy came out and replacement some cedar shakes on the side of the house that were missing from an old deck removal. He did a great job and cleaned up the worksite very nice. I was impressed with the speed. Again 5 stars. Jim himself came out for the ceiling work, he did a great job hooking up the electric and making sure the panels lined up to the existing grid. Again 5 stars. My only gripe was the billing, Their online system worked, but I think some deposits I made were just lost. Regardless they eventually took care of it... so updating my review to reflect this. Envisioned Concepts Construction LLC was provided by Home Depot. It took only pics of the damage and full structure texted; the bid received in 1 day was in the range a retired contractor estimated. I agreed to Envisioned Concepts Construction LLC's bid when the owner, Alex Nelson visited the project & confirmed it was a one-day project; penciled the day 3 weeks out, in HOA time frame. Alex Nelson was easy to communicate with, texts facilitated communication as he has new and ongoing projects. As I communicate to the HOA lawyer, Alex provided me the documents quickly. Fortunately Feb 14 had fine weather to complete the project. The 2-person crew that was to remove the rotted beam, build the temporary support and then add the new beam and remove the temporary support arrive about 8:15...as they were having a phone conversation with Alex to get the supplies Alex ordered @ the local Menards -- the Door Specialist arrived. The Door Specialist completed taking the door down as the 'Beam Crew' returned with all supplies. By 3PM the 'Beam Crew' nearly completed their work, also sawing the rotted beam and clearing all materials into their truck. I phoned the Door Specialist and he returned to put the garage door back in place and fully functioning by the time the 'Beam Crew' were ready to leave. This coordination by Alex throughout the project was First Class and the Garage Specialist finished before 5PM. As the rotted beam was likely due to the HOA not providing flashing or maintained caulking standard -- Alex with his Construction professional expertise joined me to write a letter on these matters to the HOA lawyer. We await to receive a response. In Sum: I fully recommend Envisioned Concepts Construction LLC for you projects! Alex Nelson will be fully attentive and easily accessible with clear communication for your project, irrespective of the size and complexity!

The first time Steve and a partner of his repainted our master bedroom, two bathrooms, and all the hallways in our house. The work was impeccable, and Steve took great care to keep our new carpeting in perfect shape! had him back today to do staining on an interior window - the projected lasted about 3 1/2 hours, and the cost was more than reasonable (he charges $45 an hour plus a small fee for materials). Having never worked with a remodeling contractor before, I could only go in the beginning with my…read moreimpressions of Mr. Gula. What I can say, is that from the beginning, he seemed not only very knowledgeable, but dedicated and very enthusiastic about his work. The contract that was developed and I signed was thorough, and offered main level remodeled trim, paint, doors and walls that I decided to add in addition to the main work of remodeling the kitchen, putting in hardwood floors, and redoing our stairs so they were hardwood as well. The project once it began took two months. It would have been shorter but for the fact it was over the Christmas and New Year holiday. What I want to say more than anything else is how very pleased I am with my new house. It is beautiful. The kitchen has new granite countertops, cabinets, and backsplash that are still a delight to behold. But the trim work and new doors throughout the main level are truly stunning. It was given all enamel painting and is beautiful. Mr. Gula also agreed to add a replacement of our front door for a very reasonable price. And finally, Mr. Gula returned several times to touch up items that were left undone, or needed touching up. I am so grateful and pleased with his work, and highly recommend him.
