That being said, this is the only barbershop I have been to where the staff doesn't listen to the customer. I for many years between 2011-2016 frequented the place asking for a specific hairstyle with a myriad of examples to accompany the task, but the dude with the muscles would always chop way too much off from the get-go, leaving me with a certainly "okay" haircut, but not what I asked for. For someone with friends in the industry, as well as some that are hairstylist, the unwritten credo to "chop light and go further if you need to" is for whatever reason, substantially lost on this particular hairsmith. If you just need a buzz, I mean, I guess it's fine? Or a simple taper, a fade; you should be good. You dare ask for anything else here, and I highly suggest you get it cut at your own risk, or even do it yourself because it will end up probably closer to what you had in mind if it doesn't fit an incredibly small window of styles that the muscle-bro can do. Suffice it say, I don't frequent here anymore; I went the last time in 2016 because I NEEDED an emergency appointment to get a haircut for the play I was in, and it was FUBAR by the time I left.
