A lady who didn't take my son was very rude and in a horrible mood. The younger lady who took my son was very polite and nice BUT shouldn't have been giving hair cuts at a salon or shouldn't have charged for this. My son didn't move once and was very well behaved. I asked for a fade for him and this was the result. She raced through it and didn't care about details or it being the correct length. The correct word is butchered his hair. As you can see from the pictures his hair is butchered and not done right at all. You can see she didn't trim behind his ears, his neck hairs, the front is all different lengths and looks weird. Even the top of his head is all different lengths and just done soo poorly. I don't normally like to do a poor review but the fact I had to pay for this and this was the end result I had to. I want others to know before they bring their kids there or themselves. I'll continue to go to privilege in athol, Ma from now on and won't ever go here again. Sweet lady but poor expertise. I don't know the name of the barber in the first booth but she is terrible at cutting hair and has a poor attitude. She did my hair 2 weeks ago and my wife told me I had to go somewhere else to have it fixed. Brought my son there yesterday and unfortunately he got the same person. His hair was so uneven that when I mentioned it to her, she said it was the way his hair was and would comb it out to make sure while rolling her eyes. A guy waiting started to laugh because he could see how awful it was. I declined. I'll go dinner else to fix it again. The only positive there is that you can check in online to save you some time. But it does not allow you to pick the barber. Won't be going back. read more

Writing this for a friend who isn't a Yelper. On 6/4/24 she booked a haircut at this 'salon'. I'm not sure whether she she pre booked online or at a kiosk when she walked in...doesn't really matter, she was registered. When she walked in there was one stylist working on a customer and my friend was told that the other stylist was on break and would be back in about 15 minutes. Right about the time the other stylist was coming back from break, a man with no appointment walked and asked to get his hair cut. The stylist started directing him to a chair and asked my friend if she minded waiting for the first stylist to be done. She said that she DID mind, as she was first in line and had preregistered. The stylist then explained that she wasn't comfortable with my friend's 'type of hair'. My friend has straight brown hair. The only thing 'unusual' about her hair is that it's on the head of a lesbian. She doesn't get it cut in any extreme style. It's pretty clear that the stylist was uncomfortable with my friend, not her hair type. My friend left and contacted the owner, who claimed she'd look into it but never called back. Boo. read more

Working at this salon was a different experience. I've been trained to use different cutting/razor/shatter/layering methods of hair shaping. Due to this, some of my cuts came across incorrectly. If you look at a razor cut as a layered cut, you will see it as wrong even when it was not. I really enjoy shampooing and blow drying hair. This salon is literally a one and done which is great if that is what someone wants. I appreciate the time I had here. Management is beyond kind. Considering my almost 8 mos of working there and only having issue with one person is awesome. I don't do well with snakey, lying girls. There was only one. This was a great experience work wise for me and I miss folks. read more

Awful experience! I had my hair butchered by one stylist and had to have it fixed by the other girl. I was late on my date with my fiancée and thankfully we had late reservations. But I didn't have time to shower to put new makeup on! So waited a good seven months until I was on crunch time for my son to get a quick cut before school photos! Well I'd wait 2.5 hrs at the absolute best place in my town again to not have his cowlick sticking up and the sides being shaggy around the ears with stray hairs! This place is zero on 1-5 your coupons go in my paper recycle bin. The blonde lady is the butcher who did my hair if your wondering who ruins the rental booth. read more

this salon is the first one i've been to since having a bad haircut experience at another salon years back. i've gone here multiple times to get my hair thinned out, layered, and dead ends trimmed.. i've had different stylists do my hair at different appointments and i've still never been disappointed. i always leave this Great Clips satisfied and feeling so much better than when i went in, they're the only business i trust with my hair. read more

Unhappy with my hometown barber, i decided to try a new place. Looks like each hairdresser rents a stall. I got Maddy. She listened to what I wanted and delivered it precisely. A man's cut with tip was less than twenty. Definitely coming back! Only reason I gave four rather than five stars, they ask for your phone number. In this day and age of excessive phone spam and identity theft, I don't give such info out unnecessarily. read more

Clean and generally good. Had my hair cut twice here and the results were great but they seem to have a high turnover. Went today and someone named Jenn cut my hair. It is a disaster! Spoke with the manager and she'll do her best to make good on it but meanwhile, OMG!!! So it's a pretty good and very convenient place, but you have to be very careful about who's gonna cut your hair. read more
