Truthfully, I don't have experience with other vet clinics but so far, I appreciate how kind the staff has been. They all seem like pet people and get how important our pets are. Our initial appointment, we were going to leave with just what they assumed to be something minor but Dr Natalie listened to my concerns after pressing more and offered to do a chest x-ray to rule anything out--turned out to be early pneumonia. Glad I pushed for more and that Dr. Natalie listened to my concerns.

If I could give this vet 10 stars I definitely would! Dr. Megan Leverentz was so amazing!!! Best…read morevet I've ever had the opportunity to meet. We are new to the area and wanted to find a reputable vet that would care for my fur baby like their own. A couple of places I called that are near me weren't taking any new patients. This vet is a bit farther away but so worth the drive. I was immediately greeted by the staff and taken into a room. Zero wait time! Everyone was so kind and sweet to my dog. The doctor took her time to explain everything and she was welcoming of questions and suggestions. She did not rush or suggest anything we weren't comfortable with. Which is so important because some vets want the easy way out. She understands as a pet parent herself. I especially loved her attitude and kindness! I highly recommend this vet office!

Cedar Pet Clinic - His eye was nearly swollen shut when I brought him in but they brushed it off. Turns out it was a botfly maggot.

This place is all about money. They don't care about your dog, cat or parakeet. I moved to Lake…read moreElmo and needed to bring my dog in. I asked if they had any openings and was told they just had a cancellation. I took the cancellation and then I was charged for an emergency visit. Next, my dog (17 years old) needs a groom and I simply needed an updated rabies shot. I was told I had to pay $135 plus the rabies shot for an exam. Rip off. Who needs an exam for a 17 year old dog? I simply wanted to make him comfortable during his last months.

I got a new kitten a few weeks ago and requested an appointment at cedar pet clinic. They gave me…read morean appointment 2 weeks later, which was fine with me. I didn't have any urgent needs so I was okay with waiting, but once I got there, after confirming my appointment that I had for over two weeks, I was told that the vet had been double booked. I do understand that emergencies happen and they were apologetic about the long wait time I endured, but I just needed vaccinations for my kitten. With my other cats, that is a 10 minute appointment at different vet clinics in my hometown. I was at cedar pet clinic for about 2 hours to get two vaccines. They did include a "complimentary" blood test, but on the receipt I got, there was a charge for $111 for testing of the blood. Overall the appointment cost me $325 including the $50 appointment deposit I was required to pay, they did apply that to my total, but that cost still seems insane for vaccines, which was all that I really wanted/needed. Overall my experience there wasn't bad. The staff was nice, but I did not feel that the appointment was worth over $300. I also got a quote for a neuter and microchip in the $800 range which is insanely high in my opinion, especially when programs for low cost spay/neuter are out there and easily accessible. It was odd that they took my kitten into the back to perform the vaccines and everything else they did, but maybe that's just how things are done these days, but it did seem odd that they couldn't give him a few shots and draw blood in the room with me. Again, my experience here wasn't bad, but for the cost and the wait time I experienced, I will not be returning to this vet clinic and I would not recommend taking your business here.
