Very Helpful employees. Intake is open late so folks can arrive after work to check in.

In turn, he opened his scalp with the corner edge (wall) of the restroom entrance. The entire situation was very scary. I immediately called 911 since there was a lot of blood, then Dr. Tonya. 911 paramedics suggested transportation to a hospital, but with COVID-19, our family grew more afraid since we haven't left our home since March 2020. Dr. Tonya arrived within 15-20min. What could have taken hours to do in a hospital setting with the possible risk of contracting COVID-19, the FLU, or any other viral infection, Dr. Tonya did in 30 minutes. She analyzed, assessed, treated (with staples), explained everything I needed to know, & answered my concerns. She even stayed for an additional amount of time despite it being a Sunday. Thank you for helping my precious brother and calming our family. Here's her link! (https://www.radiancepeds.com/)

His behavior made it difficult to be thoroughly checked head-to-toe and usually resulted in a cancellation. Dr. McDonald's patience, understanding, and kind heart changed that. After sharing toys and talking, kiddo allowed her to check his vitals, lung sounds, and ears! I could go on, but the point is Dr. McDonald is hands down impressive. I am overjoyed to have such an emphatic and knowledgeable doctor for my little one.

IF YOU WANT TO WAIT 5 HOURS TO SEE A DR, THATS THE RIGHT PLACE FOR YOU AND GOOD LUCK…read more - i will not RECOMMEND this place to anyone. - i waited almost 5 hours to be attended to no avail. i left the place angry. i arrived there @ 0740 am sat till 1200 noon with being attended to. - the reception is VERY POOR. The receptionists have no concern for the clients. - there's DESCRIMINATION and BIAS because i do hear Spanish even though I'm not fluent. - I asked several times when will my turn comes but the receptionist keep pushing me back ; i believe cos i was the only person of COLOR in the room - i called Dr. RAMIREZ to complain but it seems HE DIDN'T cares about my complain. - i wish i read the reviews before going there because it seems i am not the first to wait for 5 hours. - this is the WORST place I've ever been to wait that long. - I regret EVER going there. THIS PLACE DESERVE NO STAR

I called my insurance provider and they set up an appointment for me, big mistake. Dr. Ramirez asked me several questions that were completely off topic from what I actually needed from a primary care doctor. He acted more like my priest then my doctor. He was very very concerned about why I had an OB doctor and why I needed one. He gave a little too much concerned about my OB doctor and also gave me false information. I just would not recommend. This is a good office for an immigration clinic, and that is all.

They take months to reply to your concern and do not pick up the phone. The codes that were sent to my insurance needed to be changed to be covered and everyone was giving me the run around. I completely reached my deductible and out of pocket expenses due to surgeries but was billed because Methodist did not want to change a code. It has been months since I have been trying to get help and no one is helping. Some of the test that were ran were even rejected because they submitted it wrong and I am getting charged for it. This is completely horrible customer service. They are quick to have you come in for an appointment but don't help you after when they charge you for it. I will not suggest coming to this location unless you want to get charged for no reason for things that can get covered because they do not feel like changing it. I am disappointed in this organization/ office if this is how you treat all of your long term clients.

We arrived 15 minutes prior to our appointment time. We were called to be placed in a room 50…read moreminutes later. We then waited in the room approximately 30 minutes before the provider opened the door in a panic - with gloves on her hands- due to my child's results stating that she was concerned. I then informed the provider that the test result was not alarming due to my child's chronic health condition. The provider then yelled in the hall to others that they didn't need to worry because the child has this health condition (HIPPA violation). This made me aware that the provider did not review my child's chart prior to entering the room (the result was on a single piece of paper). The provider then walked over to my child with the same gloves on and briefly performed an exam (touching my child with the dirty gloves) with the door still open. At no time did the provider sanitize their hands. Next, a person entered with a tray to draw my child's blood. This provider did not sanitize their hands either. After obtaining the blood the person placed the tube of blood in a tray and said "you can go your results will be in the electronic portal". I inquired if the person would be placing identifying information on the blood tube. I was told "don't worry Mom, I know what I'm doing". I then informed the provider that best practice is to label the specimen immediately in the room with the patient to avoid mislabeling the specimen. I was then told that "I've been doing this a long time. We have a system for this". I inquired if I could follow the person to watch and ensure that my child's blood tube was properly labeled. I followed the person to the lab where they logged in to a computer and created an electronic label, showed it to me for verification and then placed it on the blood tube. I asked to speak to the manager and was told the manager was not there. I asked for contact information for the manager and was told I could get it at the front desk. The front desk staff was very helpful and pleasant and handed me a sticky note with names and a number for the manager. When I called the number to the manager in the parking lot, it was the clinics fax number that was given to me. I then called the number to the call center to obtain the correct number from a neutral employee. I was told that no supervisor in the call center was available and I was placed on hold while the call center person attempted to find a correct number to the manager. After waiting on hold for 40 minutes I hung up. If I could rate a zero, it would better reflect my experience at this MD Kids location in Lancaster.
