What can be fixed if the nurses were rude and apathetic? I can be more specific if that's what's needed. I called the number and got voicemail. In hindsight, I was told fussed at for not walking after delivery but I was in so much pain. I was in so much because I was not receiving pain medicine because I didn't know I was supposed to ask for it. I couldn't lift my right leg and needed help and only after I mentioned to one of the baby nurses did she say why that may be and confirmed I had received and injection in that leg. I was severely anemic prior to delivery so I was already weak. Was given a regular diet after a c-section (my first) so that caused more pain and problems yet just about everyone made me feel like I was the problem. No one thought to step back and say let's fix this and see what's going on? Hopefully, some changes have been made.

NO ONE told my wife and I this beforehand. My wife is only here two weeks before the expected due date due to her blood pressure. Our car seat is stuck in place inside the vehicle and isn't coming out even if Batman and Superman collaborated on it. The overall rating of this visit will depend mightily on how much help we get over the next 24-36 hours. Update: the deal with the car seat ended up not being that big a deal. That said, I'm not sure why it was made into a big deal in the first place. The bellhop-types who helped us wheel our rack of possessions to the car -- with our newborn son in his mother's arms -- were nice and cordial. Nurse Cheryl and Roshell in the nursery department were excellent with us, as was the lactation adviser whose name escapes me. They're the reasons my rating is as high as it is. The checkout process was painfully slow like it is for everyone. Sometimes you have to help folk do their jobs faster, that's all. The customer is always king, not red tape!

Camellia Hospice recently cared for my grandmother who was diagnosed with end stage Alzheimer's. Having my grandmother on with Camellia Hospice was probably the ONLY reason we all kept our sanity. They were there from the beginning to care for, educate, and comfort us through this time. I am an RN myself, and have never witnessed the professionalism, competence, and compassion that Camellia showed. We never even had to call for them because they were always there when we needed them. It would be a blessing for anybody who ever needs Hospice to use this team. I will never be able to thank them enough for caring for my grandmother AND my family.

My mom was told to take a video when it occurs and call back to schedule an appointment then. My son was not even two months. Thereafter, my newborn had an appointment last week to have his 2 months shots. The appointment was scheduled for 1:40 PM. We arrived at 1:50 PM to be told that my son could not be seen because we were late. I called my mom who asked about the 15 minutes window from time of appointment. My mom was told that they tell patients to come 15-20 minutes prior to their appointment which is the window. That was not their policy. We did not receive service for my newborn. I will never go back there as they clearly did not want to provide our newborn service and we were treated differently. Highly disappointed and concerned about the disparate treatment received.

Dr. Hicks at Internal Medicine and Pediatric Associates has been the primary doctor for my wife and…read moreI for about a decade. He is a board-certified internist and pediatrician. It may seem odd that a couple who has no kids go to a clinic with "pediatric" in the name, but they serve children and adults (in fact, they have a children's entrance and an adult entrance). I was referred to IMPA by my cardiologist after I told her how disappointed I was with the bedside manner and lazy diagnoses of the last THREE primary care doctors I had (from different health systems). Unlike the others, Dr. Hicks has always gone the extra mile to truly find out what's going on with my body, which is invaluable to me as I have a complicated medical history. He is very easy to talk to, he listens and takes notes, and has a warm bedside manner. The staff have always been professional and caring when I've gone there. The doctors' schedules tend to be pretty booked up, but they've always made the time to see us if we have a immediate health need. They also have an online Patient Portal that I can log into to see my lab results, next appointment, etc. I wholeheartedly recommend this clinic and any of the doctors for premium quality care. (I feel that the 1-star review below is unwarranted. The clinic does have a sign that states that they are closed for the lunch hour on Fridays. This isn't an issue for people who have appointments. If it is an issue for someone, then there are plenty of walk-in clinics in the area.)
