They were having a special event--with info about pertinent gardening topics, and I signed up for a great sea glass Art class with the C Sisters. This center has great plant options, a wonderful gift shop, a variety of monthly art classes (including a series for younger children) and even leads field trips. I will definitely sign up for the private tour of the Delaware Botanic Gardens that they lead. The staff is friendly and helpful, too. Definitely check out this lovely garden center!!

I called and spoke to Jessica regarding an area rug that had been in storage. While in storage it…read morewas exposed to some kind of bug and it has a few areas that need repairing. Even though they advertise hassle free pick up, I was told I would have to lug the 7x9 rug in myself, (I am a female in my 70's), for them to tell me what it would cost. I then asked if I could text photos of the front and back of the rug so they could at least tell me if it could be repaired, which she agreed to. Even though they advertise that they repair hand knotted rugs, she told me that it was a hand knotted rug amd that they were not set up for that type of repair. So then I asked if she could recommend someone who could, and I got crickets. Seems like they don't stand by what they advertise. Very surprising since they have such a large presence in this area. I am a Realtor and an Interior Designer and in the process of compiling a resource book to publish for new residents to Sussex Co. I will not be including them as a resource.
