Every step was documented (with photos). The price was very reasonable considering their level of professionalism and their obvious attention to detail. Las week they did the Inspection on my 2025 BRZ. It was fast, efficient and fairly priced. To be honest, they have a "Boxerhead" on staff (who drives a mean little WRX) and that added to my comfort level. Blair is the service manager and he is a genuine gearhead. He spotted the mods on my Outback and we spent at least ten minutes laughin' and scratchin' and talkin' about sway bars and such. I know that people can double pricing, but i really wasnt expecting those high prices. the labor and balance of services sounded fair. but the pricing mark up really rubbed me the wrong way. the big kicker was i took the car in because it wasnt starting all the time. i had some work done on it including a fuel pressure something or nother, vaccum hose and a sensor. they test drove the car, everything, ran well. happy camper. two weeks later my car didnt want to start. i asked the mechanic if they can look at it again (for no charge) to see if it was related to the work they did (and obviously i knew this could be a new problem, because i have an older car). the mechanic brought up my paper work and said that they had done x, y and z on the car, didnt mention the fuel pressure. and said that what was happening to my car was that it wasnt getting fuel or didnt have a spark. but they did not offer to take it in and look at it, saying that it would've been a different problem. when i mentioned the fuel pressure thing, they said 'oh, well we did those things not because they were causing the car to stall (originally) but because they were the only things that stood out as need of major repair.' I was disappointed because i wasnt asking them to fix the possibly new issue, but i felt like they were being shady. and then i asked (to gage the situation) what it would cost to get my car's oil changed. they said (paper work in front of them) that depending on my car's filter it could be $50. i got my oil changed a more local mechanic's for $30. i guess i couldnt help but feel that... they werent being upfront and honest with me. when i told my friend that recommended them, she said that they should've at least looked at the car again. that would be the professional thing to do. having this single experience with them, i would not go back again nor would i recommend the place. I would like to have more experiences to judge them on, but i dont want to risk spending more money or having more related issues with my car. :oP

I asked co-workers and neighbors about reputable mechanics. Everyone seemed to have a great one, but when it came down to the car they saw they were working on, suddenly they changed their reasonable tune. So I turned to Craigslist. Kind of sketchy for getting work done on your car but I refused to pay up to $100/hr for maintenance and repairs. Flattline showed up with specials on some of the work I was looking to have done and I gave them a call. I spoke with Brian (he and his brother own this shop and the one in Palmyra) and he was extremely polite and helpful. I told him I have my own parts and was looking to have them do the labor. He said no problem! The true test was the labor rate. That's where I was sold. $40-$45/hr. No gimmicks. Scheduled an appointment they did everything I asked, even bought me into their garage to show me what was being done and was done in under 2 hours. Car has been great ever since. Their store front is simple and set back off of Cameron Street, and knowing the area, you may be a bit weary of taking your car here. I can assure you it is well worth the try.
