Charlton messaged me back within 15 minutes. I explained that my throttle dashboard light came on, and Charlton said I might need the $70.00 diagnostic test to turn it off and determine the throttle problem. Charlton also asked me about the size of my engine. I scheduled an appointment and canceled it because the throttle light went out. Perhaps it was the below-freezing temperature and my attempt to drive my vehicle without sufficiently warming it up that prompted the throttle light to come on, I will definitely contact C & A when my vehicle does need servicing. I appreciated the messaging that helped me determine what my vehicle needed. What's valuable? The excellent customer service in fielding my throttle concerns is worth noting.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience needs to be shared…read more I brought my truck in to have the air filter box replaced and was charged for a "replacement" using a used part. About a month later, the same "service air filter" warning came back on. When I checked it myself, I could clearly see the exact same crack from my original air box -- meaning the part was never actually replaced. In other words, I was charged for a part and installation that never happened. The shop essentially did the same temporary fix I had already been doing myself for the past two years and billed me for it. What makes this even worse is how things were handled afterward. I called around 4pm and was told my original air box was still in the shop from the previous morning. The very next day, when my wife arrived right when they opened, we were told it had already been thrown in the dumpster -- and conveniently, the trash had already been picked up. That explanation doesn't add up at all. This was already my second bad experience with this shop, but this one crossed the line. I can't recommend them to anyone. Based on what I experienced, I would strongly suggest taking your vehicle somewhere else if you want honest work and accountability.

With my nonexistent mechanical…read morebackground (thank you, Google and YouTube), I diagnosed the issue as bad wheel sensors, which would have cost me around $500 to replace. Before I could even start, the clutch went out. Using my "expert investigative skills," I assumed it was the master or slave cylinder. After a sleepless night trying to figure it out, I decided it was time to leave the repairs to an expert. My son's wrestling coach recommended Wiltech, which is only about 15 minutes from my house. I called a few other shops first, but they all said they couldn't even look at the Jeep for 4-5 days. Wiltech, however, told me to tow it in the same day. I wasn't expecting them to get to it immediately, but later that Monday they called to let me know that both of my diagnoses were wrong (heartbreaking, LOL). They also told me they could have it done by midweek, or at the latest by the end of the week. By Friday, everything was completed and ready to go. The customer service was excellent, the price was more than fair, they kept me informed, and they finished the repairs exactly when they said they would. Moving forward, I'll be taking all of my vehicles to Wiltech Automotive. Thank you for the outstanding service!
