I didn't need much work, but I am still marveled that they took care of my needs so quickly. I have been a Hondru Ford Customer for 15yrs - even though I have lived in southern VA for the last 10yrs. When I needed a new truck they helped me out and even shipped it down to my front door. I obviously don't get to use the service often, but you better believe that if I still lived here I would use them for everything. They go above and beyond to accommodate and the treat you like a real person when discussing your needs and maybe the things that they see on the horizon as far as service.

Stay clear of this guy and this place if they will hire and pay for this type of employee they will stoop to lord knows what Now I know what they will stoop to. Val Conte calls me and identifies himself as the director of Hondru. He asks me what the problem is, and as I begin to tell him he cuts me off mid sentence so often that I had to tell him to STOP. I explained his employee began a negotiation and then turned to a manipulative lie to get me to the desk. (The term 'GET THEM TO THE DESK.' Is a hack salesmans tool to move you to a decision where the deck is in the favor of the Dealership. They use urgency, emotion, time spent, and fawning concern to manipulate you into making a foolhardy decision.) I asked him directly if the deal his employee had agreed to was within his power and he immediately talked over me. "No one is going to win if you are not going to be reasonable." Was his attempt at bringing me back to the negotiation. His only reason for the call was to get this review removed. The car I was interested in is rather rare. And that was the only reason I began talking to the sales people at Hondru. I and my family have been in all facets of the car business since the 1930's and we can all call Tom Freysinger, John Sutliff, Gary Lawrence, and Danny Sunderland friends of many years. I suggest you look those 4 up as dealership owners and representatives of fair and honest car dealers.

Croft's pinpointed the issue right away and fixed it when Pepboys couldnt. Ever since then, I now go to Crofts for the yearly inspection and when I recently purchased a Used car, I had Crofts look at it for an inspection. It seemed like Croft knew my car inside and outside. I was very impressed with his knowledge of cars and engine. I highly highly recommend Crofts.

I came in for a standard…read moreinspection, oil change, and tire rotation, and reported that I had a noise in one wheel, and that my brake pedal would shake a little bit when they got hot. They checked everything, nothing was wrong with the wheel, rotors, brakes, nothing. I thought there was an issue so they could have easily charged me to have my rotors and brake pads replaced and I wouldn't have questioned it, but they didn't. The service was quick, as soon as your in for your appointment they almost immediately pull your car back. The wait was not too long and they have a great waiting area with a self checkout snack counter! My only issue was that when they had addressed that issue of the noise I heard (choppy tires) they had moved the tire that did that to a wheel they thought would be less bothersome but it had made it significantly worse. It's no longer a big deal as they have worn down further to a more uniformed surface, but for the month or so it was louder than ever was quite annoying. Nothing that hindered my ability to drive it safely and it wasn't worth my time to get it checked out again, but regardless could have been better. (I wouldn't blame it on them as the solution of moving the tire was of standard procedure of tire rotations, and they would have no way of knowing that it'd end up being louder. Absolutely no negligence involved with that it was simply an inconvenience.

According to them, the tech said there was no gasket on the drain plug when they changed it; yet, it never leaked before I took it there. Why wouldn't they have said something at the time instead of allowing oil to leak everywhere? They fixed it without charge BUT now tried to tell me that my battery was dead after they just checked it a week ago and it was fine. They also said my check engine light was on and when I drove it after refusing to have them replace my battery there was no light and nothing else was wrong with my car. I never had an issue with my battery and have yet to still have an issue with my battery since.
