Acupuncture helps me so much with inflammation, energy, digestion, and sleep. My quality of life truly wouldn't be the same without the amazing therapeutic care this clinic provides. Scheduling online is super convenient and clinic hours are accessible with a sliding scale that makes it super affordable.

I had heard of this place from my cousin and I like that they make treatment accessible with their sliding payment scale ($20-$40). You pay what you can afford. Your first appointment includes $15 for the initial consultation. I paid $55 total with my HSA for my first treatment with the consult. The environment is very soothing. There are several recliners available and my seat was cozy and comfortable. Don't be scared off by the community setting--the room was fairly full during my appointment but it was quiet and everyone was relaxing in their own space. After relaxing in the recliner for about 45 minutes, the needles were removed. The application and removal was pretty painless, save for one or two slight pinches. The best part is that my back felt so much better after! It's recommended that you go for more than one treatment and I definitely will, but I was pleased by the difference I felt after just one session.

My first appointment was $400, about an hour, during which he asked me about my medical conditions and spent the bulk of the time slowly handwriting instructions which were very basic health advice. He recommended the book, The Autoimmune Solution by Amy Myers. I recommend you read this book and follow it - instead of spending time and money on seeing him. There is very little he is going to do other than to point out this same information. The information it contains is general and can be found elsewhere on the internet, but this is a good, easy way to find it. It suggests things like eat no gluten, eat no dairy, eat no sugar. Also, do a little basic research on the benefits of intermittent fasting - he will want you to do that as well. You don't need to pay hundreds of dollars to find this information and implement it yourself. And it's all he is going to do. He called me at home to emphasize how important the second appointment with him would be and how crucial it was that I show up and get the very specific plan he had for me. Other reviewers have commented that they liked that he did this, but I found it odd, off putting. When I arrived for the second appointment, his receptionist was anxious to take my $300 fee right away. I went in to see the doctor. He read my lab work - which I already knew about because it is reported to the patient through the "My Chart" portal. He commented in an exaggerated way on how severe my autoimmune conditions are (I know they are not as severe as he was indicating because I know the lab values, the past biopsy results, and responses I was getting from other doctors on the status of these other conditions). He then produced a bunch of paperwork for a contract with him, in which I would be paying thousands of dollars up front for 6 months of appointments with him. When I turned down this plan, he terminated the appointment, giving me really nothing for having come into the office and spent $300 to see him. This crucial second appointment that he had emphasized was so important that I come in for was nothing more than a sales pitch. What a ripoff! How deceptive and manipulative. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. DO A LITTLE BIT OF RESEARCH AND WORK YOURSELF - YOU DON'T NEED HIM AT ALL. If needed, you can order your own lab tests in NY state to monitor your conditions. You will have to pay out of pocket for this, but it's better than paying for him.
