An absolutely PERFECT job! We are so pleased!!…read more When we moved into our new home, it was almost* perfect. There were a few little projects that we could DIY and then there were these cabinets. GAH! The color! The doors! They were so dated and didn't match the rest of our home at all. Well it turns out that replacing those little brown-devil doors was a bit of a challenge! I called several businesses who weren't interested in such a small job and then called several handymen who didn't know how to fabricate something from scratch. That is when I was fortunate enough to run across Walton Home Improvements on Yelp! In the very few photos posted, I saw something similar to what I was hoping for! Ron did an amazing job and was incredibly professional. He clearly knows his craft. After listening to my ideas and adding his own creative suggestions, he went to work! He was quick and efficient and quite reasonable. I would highly recommend him to anyone and even gave his name to our realtor, who frequently has clients needing tricky repairs. Excellent service. Excellent quality. Excellent value. I painted the doors and added a printed contact paper inset.

I found Ron on Yelp as I was in need of having repairs done to a rental property for my parents…read more He is now working on my parents house...needless to say Ron did a fantastic job with the repairs needed, painting, replacing windows with a wall, gutter replacement, etc. He was very detailed and through and extremely experienced and knowledgeable. He is now working on exterior home painting on brick ('updating' a paint job my mom and I did 14 uears ago - major job!!) And once again providing extremely quality work, with more projects in the pipeline (bath/kitchen remodel, floor tiling). I highly recommend Ron for your home improvement needs!!

It's Florida - and we get a lot of rain and of course hurricanes. So at some point you can expect…read moreto have some type of roof issue. And if you live here I'm sure you've heard or have had challenges with contractors at some point. You know what I'm talking about...they don't call you back, they don't show up and they do work that requires re-work and you're left holding the bag. I can tell you without a doubt Roberson's has set a new bar when it comes to bucking those trends. Read on... Several weeks back I noticed some water stains in a bedroom closet. With the roof being less than 10 years old I was shocked I had an apparent leak. Being a DIY'r I thought I could fix it myself. But it wasn't clear where the leak was originating and it was in an area where several roof lines meet. It was just after Hurricane Irma and I knew roofers would be slammed and likely cherry-picking the most lucrative jobs. I called at least a half dozen roofers, left voicemails, emails you name it. Roberson's, a family owned local business, followed up within 24 hours and explained they would love to help if I could just be patient as the hurricane had them doing some major repairs already. I said it wasn't a problem but frankly wasn't expecting them to follow-up given my past experiences in Florida. Well, not only did they follow up but showed up on time, did a complete diagnosis of the likely culprit (poor gutter install & water backing up under shingles) and provided a written estimate that was both fair and reasonable. The one other roofer that came by spent 5 minutes with me and provided an estimate that was more than double Roberson's. They were clearly taking advantage of people post the storm - look them up they have a 3 letter abbreviation company name. Oh and they would NOT under any circumstances guarantee their work! I said, so if you go in to a brake shop to have your car's brakes fixed how would you feel if your car didn't stop? He laughed. I didn't. I understand roof repair folks can't guarantee someone else's work but not your own work? I accepted Roberson's contract and they showed up on time (on the dot actually) did a quality repair and I've had zero issues with the roof. They also said if there was a problem in that area again they would come back and make it right. WOW. I was blown away. With a little patience and communication its behind us thanks to Roberson's. I would highly recommend them as they are truly bucking the trend of bad contractor experiences. Thank you Roberson's!

called to have a estimate done on my tile roof repair, after 2 no shows, we finally get a fair…read moreestimate. now here we are 2 weeks later, 2 schedule changes due to not getting jobs done as scheduled, we keep getting pushed back because of their inefficiency and complete lack of professionalism. this morning we where expected to get our roof repaired per a text on friday saying monday or tuesday at the latest. thusly i received a text saying the 1 tile roof repairs man is out for the week , get with you next week. the final of the text message is i understand if you go with someone else. wtf is that, they completly wasted almost a month of my time and roof leaking so they can have zero accountability on their actions. never ever ever use this company unless you wanted to be assisted by a complet bunch of clowns. every part of this is exactly the truth!!!!!!!

We had Coomber construction come out about four years ago now when Mr. Cuba owned the company and…read morehe gave us a quote of $30,000 to put a three car carpool attached to our house. We left it a few months and then we called back and said can you come over and start the work well I'm being known to us. Cobridge sold the company to a guy named Zack Brooks, but still keep the name Coomber construction. He he came out the first time to look at the job and said he would send his engineer out so the engineer came out gave us a bunch a bunch of BS about how it would look and what it would be only to find out that he neglected to take into consideration the grade he got the position of the columns wrong three times. Which had to be taken down and moved .Not k owing anything about building garages ( apparently neither does Zack Brooks ) we let them carry on thinking they would make it right completely the wrong decision his. This was our first time hiring a contractor for anything his subcontractors with the exception of the roof roofing contractor Suncoast roofing did an absolutely garbage job on everything they touched. The garage floor looked like my grandchildren had laid it and had to be sanded grind down and skimmed three times and looked even worse than it did the first time we ended up just having shark coatings come out and doing it he wanted to charge me money for leftover materials by the roofing contractor that we're in that he left on the driveway but my wife moved back into the garage to keep it out of the rain. He said if you want to keep that will charge you $5000. My wife said we don't want the wood take it back and give us a refund well we never saw the refund. This man is all about overcharging under performing and just generally not having any idea what he was doing the only time he turned up at the job site was to pick up a check unfortunately I was out of state working so I wasn't able to keep a good eye on what he was up to the driveway. He charged me $4000 for looks like crap so he sent his guy out to fix it well they brought two more loads of crushed millings to fix the grade put the quality of the mailings are so awful. There are a chunks in there as big as my head during their excavation for the stumble they dug up the waterline because they couldn't be bothered to call call before you did and cut through our waterline which ruined all of our shower, faucets and valves, etc. inside the house which cost us $750 to have a plumber come in and clean them all out. His contract sign was left lying in our yard 10 months which really upset the inspector from the government building inspector.. It was just a litany of awful, awful, awful awful experiences. I wouldn't advise anybody to use this company. I can show you photographs of what happened and my advice is don't use this company. Find a reputable company. My overall opinion of this man is incompetent a rip off artist and only interested in getting money out of his clients not doing the job properly. Just as a footnote the job ended up costing us twice as much as we were initially quoted so angry. How do people get away with this crap and how do they get a contractors license?
