This place has some really great donuts! I tried a few different items off of their menu and honestly had no complaints. The strawberry donut and sugar donut are very very tasty! And their croissant sandwhiches are also quite delicious. The staff is also very friendly and even threw in an extra donut for us! Who is Dunkin? My ex donut, that's who! May we never breathe that name again. From lackluster coffee to truck delivered donuts, I can't even anymore. Humble honey bee. Hunnnay...you have so much to be proud of. Simply soft, airy, pillowy bites of melt in your palate donuts are CLASSIC. I can't agree to call it 'plain', it's classsssic. This place has been here for over 30 years and its 'classic glazed' is the right stuff. Not heavy, won't weigh you down like other ahem places. My favorite way to earn a spot on this week's naughty list? Their donuts warmed up at home... plural, because two is almost enough to share. Disclaimer: I eat both of mine. So very good with detour coffee from Open Flame. I say detour because I wish these places were adjacent to each other but alas, it's kind of a drive. They make square donuts in multiple flavors, as well as the usual round ones. I think they use a little bit of dough conditioner, because the donuts lack the full flavor that properly risen dough gets, but not so much conditioner it makes the donuts tough. The people there are friendly and fast, and the donuts are cheap. The glaze on the plain glazed donuts has too much flavor - it overwhelms the donut - but the cake donuts are excellent. The donut holes are usually undercooked, but not raw. They just need another 30 - 60 seconds in the fryer to brown up a bit. And less glaze. I guess they don't let the donuts brown fully because they are so busy. When I go there to pick up the Friday donuts for my co-workers, I always get the square ones for them - they come with the same toppings as the round ones and it always makes my co-workers smile to see the different shape. read more
